Sometimes you forget just how good Fevola can be.

Cheers for the reminder.

That game was the most enjoyable of the past five years for mine.

How flowering hot was Fev in that game?

That should be used to recruit players worldwide to Aussie Rules.

Absolutely electric.

Both Waite and Scotto were lucky to get foot and hand to the ball before being tackled.

That was the game that decided Sheedy's future at Flatulence Hill was over!

And to think that our loss to the scum later in the year was equally, if not more important.

A good read there, grrof! Some good early signs for our new rookies, and some disappointing comments about our #1 get. Still, it's only December -- bring on the Punt Road Pussies at Easter!

Flower that - bring on the NAB Cup!!

probably the best home and away game i've been to :)

The crowd had a big part in that win... when Fev kicked the goal to make it 36pts the crowd really got pumped up and the mood among the crowd was "here we go again"

What I remember most about that game was the tension in the Carlton members around me. We were breathing very fast but as one. The relief of the accumulated stress when the siren sounded was very clear. After a much needed trip to the Gents at game end, I was chatting with those in also ib the queue. It reminded us of years long gone when we had the winning feeling of coming back from what should have been a thumping to win.

The beauty of the experience was that Essendon* lost and that we beat them.
