If you read the article you'll find it's not all old news, so its perfectly legitimate to post a link to it now.

I don't see how a legal rangle that doesn't involve the CFC whatsoever, except for the fact that one of the participants was a player for Carlton years ago, bears any relevence to Carlton.

The only Carlton stuff in that article is old old news. They have some extremely dodgy sub-editors over at the Herald Sun.

The part about us not being involved in any legal action is trivial, but new.

I find it of interest to us a club to see why the deal fell through and the ramifications of it.

I agree the title of the article is poor.

It is a perfectly good article from the standpoint of the newspaper. There are supporters of 15 other clubs out there that enjoy reading anything even remotely negative about Carlton.

Missing out on the pub deal = Old news

The people involved fighting over the dollars = Nothing involving Carlton

Ergo, story = Irrelevant to today

It's annoying for me too, and quite ironic, much like rain on your wedding day.

“It's a traffic jam when you're already late” is BAD LUCK unless perhaps you are on your way to a meeting about traffic congestion, then it is ironic
