Outstanding work, bob.

Project Comedy is off to a good start - we've got 13 years out of 111 already done.

If people could even fo a 5 year stint, please just go ahead and do it.

1897 to 1969 and 1980 to 2003 still need single lines to summarise to aid navigation.

Ok Peoples. Project "Comedy" is off to a slow start but we have the off-season. Simple task really - just to add 1 line to the Description box of each game of each year, along the lines of "Carlton defeated (lost to) Team X by Y points - MCG. Special comment if required".

Working on 1902 now and will have to call it stumps for the day once that is done. There seems to be an issue with the bottom links in R11 1902, even though the coding appears okay???

1902 done and dusted, I will get to 1903 and subsequent years tonight. Hopefully, I get to do the threepeat after just living through our worst run of defeats EVER! :lol:

I wouldn't worry as long as the message is conveyed and a 1-liner entered. The Task List page on the Blueseum is designed to be read by any newcomers, not just long-term supporters of the site, so spelling things out and making the task as simple as possible is the best way to go.

I've been even more recalcitrant, which is bad and I apologise ... rather than using a dash before the venue I have been posting the one liners as such:

Carlton defeated Collingwood by 20 points at Victoria Park.

Juts makes more sense to me for the descriptor to be a complete sentence, especially when there are instances of adding secondary sentences including other points of note.

Something else I've noticed is in the game block at the head of each page is if we lost the game the text will read:

Result: Lose by 20 points.

That doesn't make sense to me, and I have been changing the text to read:

Result: Loss by 20 points.

Sorry if I'm just making a hash of things. :oops:
