This is something i posted earlier and something that BlueHammer said he would be happy to help out with.

well who has a credit card and would be willing to buy X amount of tickets together?

I dont, but unless some one would be prepared to do that i suggest we all go our own way and meet up before, at half time and after the game to enjoy each others company.

Otherwise it will just be too hard to get a seat together.

For those that would come along and have sat down with each other in the past we have.

ScottSaunders
Mr Saunders (my father)
Phoneix Johnson
Cammo
BleuGirlDanielle
FullMonty101
StrangleBlue
MaxyBlue
BlueHammer
CK95
Gezamn (i think i read somewhere that he will come down for the game)
Bec - give the best seat known to man
Bec's friend 9cant recall your name sorry mate)
Bec's Friend No 2 (cant recall your name sorry mate)

and no doubt ive missed a couple as well.

If i had a CC and could confirm everyone there would come along, which i have no doubt they would i would be more than happy to get everyone a ticket and they can fix me up later, but i dont, so unless anyone is up for that, and please dont feel as if you have to, we should all just do our own thing and meet before the game, during half time, and at the end of the game.

So there we have it people, Bluehammer will attempt to get some tickets tommorrow with his CC but for his own safety and everyones elses i would like to see everyone commit now to tickets. Obviously there will be some that wont get this message it time but hopefully the "AA Squad" nice name by the way, will more than likely all attend but there may be a few that want to attend festivties.

As it is, BlueHammer may only be able to get a certain amount in any case and if that is infact the way it is then it will be a case of first in best dressed with the AA squad having the first preference.

BlueHammer - put me down for 2.

Put me down for 2 at the moment.
Phoenix Snr is in bed at the moment, so I'll ask him if he's coming or not and get back to you ASAP.

Even if he doesn't come, the other ticket can be used on someone else.

Sometimes you wanna go...

where everybody knows your na-aaaa-aame.

Now, as I said I'll just grab as many as I can tomorrow, ticket limits for footy vary between 8 and 'unlimited' if you buy a collingwood home fan Family Ticket.

I'll get what I can, and will distribute the tickets prior. I'll also give those that I can get tickets for my bank details as I'd prefer not to handle a bunch of cash and hear "hey hammer, can you break a $50?" (though as Cammo proved, not having change can be a handy way to get a free beer...).

I apologise up front if I can't get enough, but I'll do what I can. Camberwell ticketbastard will be my hunting ground.

Re prices - I think we'll find that $22 is the base price and doesn't cover the reserved seat cost. Not sure yet and as usual there is NO info on the ticketbastard site.

I'll be clutching my home made student card like a 14 year old boy clutches a wad of kleenex while reading a copy of amateur photographer. For those of you that genuinely are students, I'm going to struggle as these days TB are nazis when it comes to student cards.

I'll do my very best. We've got to pray just to make it today.

do your best mate, its all we can ask :D

let us know how you go, and again, probably a good idea with the banking concept, aslong as you feel comfortable with that :D

People depositing money in my bank account is not something I've had a problem with before. I think I'll manage

Cash on the day makes me feel like a drug dealer and unfortunately rolling and smoking footy tickets just doesn't get you where you want to be.

Yep, like Deano said I'll just grab as many as I can. I know the bloke at the ticketbastard office in Camberwell (from U2 and Radiohead queuing over the last 10 years) and he's normally quite obliging if there's not much of a crowd. ie lets me buy a few batches.

I'll be able to let people know mid morning tomorrow how I went. Will be trying to get seats around 11,12,13,14 like we were yesterday.

I'd try and get us seats in the weagles cheer squad but I think those 3 seats are taken.

fair call, fair call

but in my defence, the last 6 weeks i have not been home before 4am on the saturday morning.

this week - i will not go out on friday night - unless a lady i have had som good chats with the last few times (we know each other through mutal friends) wants to "catch up"

otherwise, i will be in bed at 8.30pm :D

and dont worry about me mate, i go alright as far as the drink is concerned.

I shall be further entrenching myself into the system by attending Round 4 of the post drinks session with the AA Squad.

BTW, I'm proud of the name - the AA Squad.

Pretty catchy and describes us all to a tee.

Bluehammer,

Free beers from me as well if you can get me a ticket.
