Finally, Patrick Smith is inconsistent. Why was he never as vocal when Ron Evans chairman of Spotless used his influence to benefit Spotless and cheat every AFL fan? Why wasn't he as vocal when Essendon* used the website rort to benefit Hird and Lloyd. I will tell you why because Patrick Smith has an inbuilt hatred of the Carlton Football Club and has not got the capacity to be consistent.

QFT.

Imagine the outrage if someone compared Patrick Smith to David Hicks.

I heard most of KB's show this morning when we were down the beach, and he not only defended Smith; he agreed with him that RP is not fit to be President of an AFL side.

When people rang in and said there was no mention being made that RP would have to face the AFL Commission; Bartlett repeatedly said "but there's no indication that he might not have to face them either"......

He twice replayed Elliott and Smith's heated argument from yesterday....and gleefully said it was a "great debate".....with a giggle.

People rang in and said he was a Carlton hater like Smith, to which KB replied that he "admired Carlton"...........

Of course; it must be noted that Smith isn't on KB's show on Fridays.

Hoping it would all die down by next week?

Kevin Bartlett is a wizened old prune.

He is also a rascist - and one day Umpire Glenn James will reveal what Bartlett said to him in the last quarter of the 1982 Grand Final.

Just engaging in vigourous debate Kevin.

If I remember rightly; KB was a red hot favourite to win the Brownlow one year.....he won every possible award but the Medal.

He finished second to Teasdale in '77...beaten by 14 votes.

And 4th to Blight in '78...beaten by 3 votes.

Perhaps "Jesse" James spread the word?............ 8)

Thanks Camel but if this is an indication of what's on offer on this station , I'm better off not listening to it.
Think my tolerence meter might explode!!

I actually changed the station in my car today, and was amazed to find that not everyone on the whole planet is bagging Carlton

the bloke is a germ.

You're kidding aren't you.

Do you think after round 1, I can say I told you all that Chris Judd would be a gun player for carlton, finally you caught on.

Have you even read these pages before?

Well this webite does give him a lot of attention. More than he deserves. Not sure what this says???

Hey Buzz,if you read my posts you will find i never bag journo's,coz they are all part of the game. But i have consistantly bagged Smith from the first day i joined this site. Those days back on TC he wasnt nearly the talking point he has become these days.He is a far bigger prick these days and thus attracts far more scorn.Just trying to point out that he was back in those days a wolf in sheep's clothing just trying to break out.It was only a matter of time.
Dont know where you are coming from RE Judd, coz i have not posted one scintilla on the bloke up until now........maybe you are saying you wouldnt have to be a rocket scientist to declare Judd will be a success.True ! But Smith had the wool pulled over a lot of peoples eyes, but those of us who have known he was a germ right from day one............trust me Buzz, there were a lot of people on his bandwagon in the early days.Thankfully slowly but surely his real self has emerged and he is seen as the spitefull and vindictive brat by most objective observors.

PS Buzz...........i got this thing with Smith sorta like Agro with Demitriou.I just detest the bloke.

Well, if SEN is supposed to be an outlet for AFL information, (and that's why they have listeners), then why don't we give listeners a reason to switch off until KB and P.Smith are dropped?

How?

Just keep calling on the pretence of another subject and jam the switchboard and if succesful to be on air, jam up the airtime with a conversation relating to the abusive Smith comments and KB's endoresement of Smith re Mokbel.

It would take a great effort, but I'm sure listeners would switch off the subject matter of the show continued in a monotonous repetitive way for long enough... listeners of the other 15 AFL teams and general audience would get sick of the subject (and content) that the audience would drop off.

Jam them and shut them down.

Carlton supporters unite and jam them for a few weeks, or as long as it takes; it's off season, there's nothing else to do.

Lets get started! @#$%&! 'em.

They reckon they're untouchable...lets make a farce of their existence on FTO radio.

I reckon I'm the only person I've read on TC or TBV to say that I used to like Patrick Smith.

So not sure what Mickstar has been reading these past 5 years if he reckons nobody ever had a problem with Patrick Smith until now.
