The only problem is that no one read The Australian!

It has all the insight of a tabloid with all the inconvenience of a broadsheet.

Patrick Smith is like that white stuff that accumulates at the end of your mouth when your thirsty.

Dick Pratt's toe nail is better than that fat prick

Sometimes I wonder if some of the people on here are rage-aholics who just listen to Fatprick simply to rant and rave at what he said.

It's really quite amusing.

I heard the whole thing, and what struck me the most is the fact that Smith does not handle contrary opinions and criticism well. Any time he was questioned on his view, he would cut the caller off, and if that didn't work, would shout over the top of the caller. He is just a bully and should be igonored...

as long as the fatprick is going to continue with these comparisons, i have got one for him.

Patrick Smith = the Pauleen Hansen of journalism.

A whiny bitch whose opinions are worth less then the oxygen used to say them.

One thing that could be done is for Carlton to ban Fatprick. So no interviews or info from any player or administrator no access to any presser etc.

Haven't read the next pages but htis looks like somethig sensible. I always thought that the clubs who boycoted Ch 7 over the drugs thing should have been boycotted on FTA TV by 7. It works both ways.

The thing is though, that Fatprick isn't one of those interviewing-types. He's one of those 'write shit and insult as many people as I can without any basis in fact" types. So don't see how a boycott could work.

But yes, I think mr Fat might be getting a call from Pratt's lawyers soon.

WOW. I just heard the interview.

Patrick Smith showed his colours in a big way today. He had no right to attack Jack personally, Jack called about Smith's comments only.

The hate has resurfaced for this spineless wanker.

If it wasn't for these forums I wouldn't hear about anything the tool has written or said. I don't value his opinion on anything so I don't give a toss what he says.

Maybe the fat turd could draft up a policy which he thinks would work in terms of board members and criminal convictions :x .

Fact is it ain't that easy - where do you draw the line? If you were found guilty of assault, say, 15 years ago - should that stop you being a President? . Pratt has not served jail time and has not caused anyone physical harm. You might find all sorts skeletons if you dig deep enough.

This arsewipe just wants another reason to smack down the Blues on the eve of the # 1 draft pick  .

GO @#$%&! YOURSELF SHITSMEAR!!

Of course, there's always the possibility that SENs ratings are sliding given it's the off season  . I for one have bailed from 1116 for the time being and won't be rushing back after this load of crap.

Fat Prick is a w*nker who has little or no credibility throughout the football world... People shouldnt take anything this butt licker says too seriously.. His opinions are as worthwhile as a virgin in a brothel...

What I wrote...

To whom it concerns,

I wish to express my utter disappointment, for the first time as a formal complaint, but as the last straw to the constant bombardment of Carlton-bashing that seems to be ever-present on SEN, and most recently this morning, with Patrick Smith. His obvious frustration with the football club must span somewhat from it's rivalry with the team he supports, but alas, I'm now convinced it's in greater part due to some form of deep-seeded resentment harboured by Patrick from his failings at becoming an elite sportsman. I believe the only outlet he has that's ably masked, is to ridicule successful sport's persons whilst perched on his moral high-ground, delighting in their mistakes in the name of sport, or in their private lives as human beings. This bitterness is seriously clouding his judgement, and his ability to objectively analyse sporting news. As a result, it now compromises his position on SEN as a specialist sporting journalist.

I hope you do not perceive this email to be from an irate and irrational Carlton supporter, but from a member of the club that's paid it's penance for the mistakes it's made, and thus, has accepted it's due criticism for many a year. We are the devout and ardent supporters that have stuck by our club throughout the bleakest period of our proud history, celebrating little, yet maintaining a watchful eye on what's written, and an ear on what's said, as our love for the game will never dwindle.

In modern times fairer systems were established to punish individuals or organisations for activity that's deemed inappropriate to society, so the need for one individual to constantly propagate his biased views, after justice has already taken it's course, is what I find inappropriate. On a personal level, the "kick them while their down" mentality, synonymous with Carlton and the media, is beyond the point of boredom. To put you in the loop and those of your subordinates, we have four hard-wood cabinets on display at our Princes Park. Each filled with four premiership cups. Each of these in recognition of season-long brilliance. The sooner your organisation and those of your employ recognise this fact, the sooner it will become plainly obvious that prominent and influential people that have come to govern our club in it's hour of need and dissatisfied with it's performance, will leave no stone unturned in the pursuit to give another Melbourne cabinet-maker, another opportunity.

Behold, the sleeping giant awakens, just as the day of paying credit, where credit is due, approaches!

Best Regards

The answer is not to boycott SEN or write letters of complaint. What we should do is BOYCOTT THE SPONSORS. Start an active campaign against whoevers ads are on when Fatprick is on. Put sticky notices on this site and LET THE SPONSORS KNOW as well as SEN management that there are organised communities ACTIVELY lobbying against the Sponsor products.

They won't want to associate with Smith and will pull their ads from his segment . He will be off the air within 2 weeks.

Then patrick will really understand the meaning of the power of money.

Does anyone know who sponsors that segment?
