if Pratt feels he has been slandered, he's big and powerful enough to sort smith out, he doesn't need us to help

We all know that Big Jack is a friend of Big Dick, and that his actions have caused the club considerable grief, but Fatprick's personal attack was uncalled for.

It was one of the more sensible statements Jack has made over the years,he was purely taking Fatprick to task over his comparison of Mokbel and Pratt. He certainly didn't deserve the personal vitriol spewing from Fatprick's mouth.

Let's all hope that Jackon or Horsebreath have some skeletons in the closet.

The guy has to resort to pretty crude "sporting journalism" to get ratings. It's all part of the game. I would just ignore it. He is entitled to his own opinion. We can't crucify him for that. I would just ignore it.

His opinion is no more important than the average Joe's. Let him slag of the Blues if he wants to. The only reason he is doing it is because he is jealous of the club and would love nothing more than to belittle it.

The best thing the club can do to counter these negative sentiments of opposition supporters is to win games. Relax, get a grip and wait till 2008 and beyond. That's when our best reply will surface.

The place we will hurt them the most will be on the field.

We don't say such a thing with the intention of it going all over the papers as a serious statement. An angry swipe is one thing, but that has to be a pre-meditated comment, which confirms him as a spiteful old man whose entire journalistic repertoire consists of flinging shit at things to see what sticks.

If that's not the case, he's just a loose cannon. Either way it should call enough negative attention to him for a sacking. The fact that a few idiotic supporters of other clubs could find it amusing won't stack up if this gets solid airtime.

I didn't hear the interview this morning, but it doesn't surpise me.

The only reason SEN has him on their station is because he's contraversial, and that attracts listeners.

I'm not upset, I believe what he has done is defamatory towards Richard Pratt , I beleive his words will end up with him getting a fair whack either from Pratt's lawyers or the club or both.

It really reflects this growing sentiment. The reason that fat *@#% has to resort to such slander is because it infuriates him no end that our period of doom is about to come to an end and an opportunity to dump more sh!t on our club with this Pratt stance is not working out as he probably had planned. He was expecting more but with the AFL indicating that they aren’t overly concerned (maybe not impressed by it though) and not willing to take any action he has to once again revert to the lowest common denominator in his behaviour and approach to Carlton.

All I can say is FLOWER HIM!!!

As a person who was on the receiving end of countless tirades of racial abuse, after a while you simply become not only immune to it but can turn it into ridicule towards the perpetrator. And fatpricks irrelevance is ridicule enough!

The problem with the other clubs is that they are kicking themselves that they weren't able to win a premiership while Carlton were down in the dumps.

Traditional rivals like Collinwood and Essendon* are spewing. Best chance they had in overtaking the Blues in the premiership count, and they couldn't take it. Collingwood especially.

Carlton's whipping boys like St Kilda are shyting themselves too. Had a good team while we were down, but still can't win a cup.

Now that Carlton's got their act together, they are now shytescared as Synbad said. This is all too good from Carlton's perspective. As I like to say, even through the bad times, we have emerged in a WIN WIN situation.
