Apparently on millionare last night over there......

'Referring to Ned Kelly being hanged, he said the bloke who sentenced him to hang (missed the name) was one of the founders of the Carlton Football club.

Then made a crack about them being bastards even then.

Don't watch the show normally, but I'll pay that one Ed.'

Never watch that rubbish, but i walked in to put a tape to record and watch South Park and Pizza later and caught that. I thought it was funny,he did have a smug smile on him.

Sir Redmond Barry was the judge who sentenced Kelly to hang, and he was indeed one of the founders of our great Club.

FatEd is still a flower though.

Because he is getting worried that Carlton is becoming a powerhouse off and on the field again and fat Ed knows that Collingwood will never win a premiership during his time.

He may or may not be a flower but his constant mentioning of the Blues in the press as a rivalry of old, particularly whilst we were down, was always a good thing. Eddie recognises things like that stir emotions and keep rivalries going and I'm pleased when he rubbishes us.

Collingwood siding with the criminal element.

So what else is new?

Molsey makes a fair point,

Eddie has done his utmost to keep the rivalry healthy even when we've been down. It's a bit like Sheedy... they both hate us, but it is hate borne out of respect.

He's p*ssed off because Ned Kelly, being the crim that he was, was probably a Collingwood supporter :-D :-D

Ed is a flower, but his new habit of bagging the blues at every opportunity just reignites the rivalry, which ultimately is great news for both clubs. Next season Collingwood are the team I most want to beat, a break from my recent desire to beat StKilda at all costs, and I'm sure most pie fans are desperate to stick it up us for the Judd acquisition

For sure Ned Kelly was a Collingwood supporter.

He got shot down in September.

Eddie lets not get too "self righteous" and "holier than thou".

If you want to delve back in history and look at the money that Illegal Bookmaker John Wren gave to Collingwood throughout its history to prop that club up.

So dont come the boy stood on the burning deck expression and look down on your nose at Carlton's history Eddie.

And we all saw the scant mention of Carlton's huge sponsorhip announcement got on Channel 9s news coverage as well.

They would have had Nathan Buckley porking an Emirates Hostess (if they could get you of his penis first  ) as a lead story if Collingwood had of announced a new deal with Emirates.

T'was a pioneer Collywobbler that rode with the gang, that on accusation of being an accesory, retorted he was restfully in slumber as the felony unfolded, after consuming the reserves of the governer's rum at the local Bordello.
