why the HELL would you want to go to Birmingham

Wife's parents live in between Birmingham and Worcester in the lovely county of Shropshire. Much better having to go to Birmingham International than that cesspool of an airport in London and then negotiating the traffic to get the hell out of there.

I hardly see it as an amazing predication by this topics author. Especially considering how long its is taking for this so called massive deal to come through. I call it stating the obvious.

So you would rather people coming here not tell you what is going on around the club?

Last time I checked a forum was to share ideas and discuss interesting topics about the club, not to rub the egos of "the insiders"

I wish people would get their hand off it! The reason why half of us come on to this site and have been doing so for years is because of the inside info that some posters graciously share. For those of you trying to undermine Synbad et al's contribution, they have been posting on the various incarnations of this site for six years and sticking their necks out. If those of you don't appreciate people showing their appreciation for being kept in the loop, don't log on. I guarantee to you that 99% of posters look out for Synbad's posts more than yours.

So who is stroking egos, and whose egos are being rubbed?

Or alternatively, is it OK to denigrate some because they are able to impart some info about things which are happening or in process at the Club?

I would argue it depends upon the eye of the beholder.

And still I ask, would you prefer the information not be posted?

I honestly don't recall one piece of "insider knowledge" given by Synbad. That's how important they have been. I enjoy reading other peoples views about the team, club and individual players, but I certainly don't come on here for any inside knowledge. I have my own friends for that.

If you come on here for the "inside scoops", then good for you, enjoy it. Like you said, its all in the eye of the beholder.

Give it a rest guys.

I can guarantee that Synbad couldn't care less whether you read his posts or not.

If you can't find other things to post about on TC then perhaps you might enjoy one of the other forums to post on.

If the sponsorship was so pretictable, the only thing that could be more would be the same usual suspects crawling out to attack those who called it first.

It is human nature. Synbad is a tall poppy on this website and it is the Australian way to cut these people down.

He knows more than most (about Carlton) on this website which is fine.
