Wasn't meant to be.
Wasn't the best man for the job imo.
Footy isn't a charity.

I'm not impressed in his form though.

...and I hope he don't come back!

No great loss.... One player manager is always quick to point out that Jason and Wayne Carey have a lot more in common than playing at the same clubs.

About as good a character as someone who would find it necessary to sledge a cancer patient... wait a minute

From memory, wasn't his job with the AFL to work in the NT? Maybe he found the work for that role a bit more rewarding.........

maybe wooed by the money, but decided to go with his heart instead.

Can't be too angry at him if that's the case.........

I'm surprised we haven't heard Jarusa or dannyboy recommend Pagan as the replacement

What's Williams doing these day? You'd think he would be a decent development coach

What about Daniel Harford? Good humour, was popular with the players. Has studied sports science. Not a "big name" in terms of AFL or Carlton but understands the game.....even though he played a handful with us he seems more a Blue than a Hawk.

Feel free to bite a newbies head off!!!!!!!

What makes you say that?

I reckon he'd be a bit of a dud as a coach. I doubt his communication skills would be up to scratch and I'd hazard a guess and suggest he'd have troubles relating to "the kids of today".

Get whoever Collingwood have. They seem to be best at fast tracking the development of their youngsters.

We've already tried that. ;)

I think Eddie might have threatened Richardson with castration, from the President's mouth, if he took our offer.

I would think the chances of Buckley coaching at a club other than the pies, or Hird coaching at any other club but Essendon* (in the short term) having as much chance as snow falling in Bahrain (natural...not man made).

Just have a look at the players that have retired this year......a number would make a play as a development coach.
