My biggest concern is finding a way to fit in Hampson, Aisakie and Kreuzer into the same senior team. They're all too good NOT to have in the 22.

Kreuzer is too good NOT to play in the ruck.
Hampson is too effective with taps not to play in the ruck.
Aisakie wins damn near everything but needs to concerntrate on taps to advantage, but again - Must play in the ruck.

Both Aisakie and Kreuzer will be most effective when they are playing as a Ruck/Rover.

Anybody got any ideas?

All a bit like Greg Dear at the moment - skinny beanpoles...

I don't think Aisake or Kruezer have the bean pole body of Greg Dear, and Hampson looks to have the body type that can be built up (top half).

I think at centre bounces, the most important thing in 2008 is that we are not beaten. With these athletic ruckmen (esp Hampson, and to a lesser extent Aisake) they can use their spring to advantage to atleast nullify if not win the ruck contest; that's a whole lot better than 2007.

Around the ground, where their body weight may not be enough to out muscle the likes of Cox, Lade, Brogan, King... (not many monsters out there anymore), then perhaps one goes up for the body against body stuff, whilst the second plays as a RR and jumps over both of them. After all they have the attributes athletically of a RR and therefore can be around the contest.

With this sort of advantage, set plays will be worth pursuing in 2008, and to the advantage of Judd, Stevens, Murphy, Gibbs, Walker, Carrazzo and Simpson (very handy midfied rotation there).

I can see Kruezer, easily becoming a better CHF than Kennedy (no disrepect to Josh), if need be.

These 3 ruckmen-RR's will leave opposition coaches dumbfounded.

Seriously though, at 200cm anything in double figures is damn good. Anything above 12 would be great. 14+ would be sensational.

Heard AW may have run a 17.7.

is that even physically possible??? thats the highest score i've ever heard of!

Heard it from a another CFC player, thats why I stated may.I will confirm with Andy.

hey DOA,

does Andrew often do photo shoots for women's magazines?
My girlfriend recently showed me a picture of a oiled up 1AW and now has a favorite blues player :!:

Mother was concerned  .
The shoot was to raise funds for the McGrath foundation.a few NRL and AFL players were asked, and volunteered their services for the cause.

I guess it's possible, the number just refers to the speed of the 'beeps' on the CD whilst you are doing the shuttle runs. No idea where the CD craps out because the best I've seen anybody ever do was about 16 or so and they stopped the tape/CD at that point (I was on my haunches sucking it up big time after having given in at around the 12.something mark from memory)

Apparently David Beckham and Lance Armstrong have 'clocked' the beep test (don't ask me how).

Someone posted a url a while ago - something like thebeeptest.com or similar.

According to wikpedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Multi-stage_fitness_test the test goes up to 19.5. beeptest.org says that Beckham and lance armstrong have clocked the test but youd think there'd be loads of olympic athletes out there able to clock it if Beckham can. Mottram would have to give it a shake, as would Cadel Evans etc.

Note that there are different versions of the beep test, and it is dependent upon environmental conditions such as the type of surface, weather etc as well. So one should be wary of comparing times from different tests.

I also think you may struggle to find confirmed evidence of Beckham's alleged "completion".

the reason why people say beckham's completed it is because rio ferdinand once said about him that he's someone who can finish it and still not be puffing.

Some of those scores are quite low. It's not actually a good example of the scores that truly elite athletes get. Most middle distance/long distance athletes would get above 17.

True, I've never scored below 17.
