Thank, Cazzes, but

Shields, who played in Cork’s losing All-Ireland Final side against champions Kerry, will stay with fellow Corkmen and Blues’ players Setanta and Aisake O’hAilpin during his stint in Melbourne.

Couldn't we have got a guy from the winning team?

No doubt the O'H's will ensure that Mr Shields will be happy about relocating to Melbourne.

Assuming he is a gun player!

Despite reports that the club was due to sign three other un-named Irish players, Icke insists that Shields will be the only Gaelic Footballer to link up with the Blues this year.

So Caro was wrong :?:

Those 3 boys are under 18, and as such, can't be drafted until they hit 18. No way in hell Icke will reveal their names.

"She" said in The Age that we had signed up four teenagers, not three. :?

What makes you think we haven't secretly signed em up? Forget the media rubbish, if they're good enough when they're 18, they'll be playing for Carlton.

Well two of them are small/medium forwards from what I can deduct... this will be interesting.

So who was there today to see Shields hit the park. I'm told he is about 184cm and solid as a rock.

Some said the other day about being "Hard as a cats head" and apparently that sums him up. I asked what they saw in him to get him over and was told......Aggression, Aggression, Athleticism and Aggression. Also apparently he has some good footy skills as well :-)

I'm told when he spoke on his own the guys could understand him but when he was speaking with the O'hAilpins no-one had a clue what they were all saying

Regards Cazzesman
