I wonder why our club has so much dirty laundry to be aired???

Who leaked it anyway? Someone from the club?

Kouta is now dial a quote when it comes to the Carlton Football Club

To me he is nothing more than a joke now, and that is sad considering the player he once was.

You are not serious with this comment are you??? For god's sake the man is entitled to his opinions and surely this minor fracas has no bearing on his standing as a great Carlton player.

Kouta was on sunrise. Handled himself well and spoke of a few of the other issues he talks about in his book. Looks like a good fun read.

Kouta was a great footballer for two years of his career 1999/2000. He was the best in the competition during these years but he hurt the club after 2000. Players like Kernahan, Williams, Bradley, Silvagni were all greater players than Kouta and would have been paid far less than Kouta.

Kouta didn't try and took the money. That Crickey piece was spot on IMO.

I think all this stuff is pretty much a storm-in-a-teacup.

If I was an ex-footballer publishing a book, I would release it now as well. Mainly because there is so little footy news about you know the footy journos will pounce on it because they need something to write about.

And for the past week it has been Kouta's book, the publishers must be rapt. If the same book had have been released in July beyond a picture in The Hun and an appearance on TFS it would have hardly raised a ripple.

Personally it hasn't changed my opinion of Kouta at all and I am happy that it has been released now rather than in the leadup to next season. By the end of this week it will have disappeared from the back pages and by the time Kreuser gets handed his Carlton guernsey it will have been pretty much forgotten.
