I dont care, I am saying it now, the wait for the new season, NAB included, is killing me, with Judd to play, Setanta in flying form, Fev getting great delivery from all angles, Murph and Gibbs doing the biz, and from what I gather 1 or 2 more big signings.
If we write to Demitirou is there any chance he could start it up earlier???

Any thoughts???????????
Anyone else pitching a tent at the thought?

Yeah, it's @#$%&! killing me too.

Off-season bites, especially when your EPL club is tanking.

What off season?

Seriously, February can't come soon enough.

What about getting the clubs together for a summer season!

There are only 2 seasons.

Footy season.

And can't-wait-for-footy season.

It is a horrible time of year. Cricket isn't up yet, and you still have the hangover from the season.

What I was thinking was when was the last time we went into a season expecting to win some games? Rd 1 2008 against the Tigers, I expect us to win. I haven't had that feeling for a long time. I have to say it is good! You always hope we can win, but I actually think we can win more than a few. Nothing exceptional, and I don't think we can make the 8. I guess this expectation is what makes the off season harder.

I watched 1997 round 1 game against Richmond yesterday. Wow .. Nick Stevens was good. Can't wait for the Judd/Stevens combination.

We ve been fortunate in the past 2 consecutive years. Our off seasons have been more eventful and engaging than our playing seasons.

Spare a thought for the supporters of some of the other clubs they must be tearing their hair out.

Although footy is my first love, I still have Melbourne Victory, Melbourne Tigers, Indianapolis Colts and Manchester City and the Aussie Cricket team to cheer on...

All of them together just manages to keeps the withdrawal sweats away. :-D
