OneTel was good to me personally. When they collapsed, I got to keep my phone and didn't have to pay out my contract. 8)

I know that young man [or woman], but as someone who has been on the site for a bit, it pays to be respectful of others people's opinions, even if you do think they are flowered! :-D

I remember getting a clip behind the ears by GWS when I first posted.

TC is a place where you can chat about the one thing that unites us.

I respect those whose opinions I respect. If someone is being a flat out idiot, then I won't respect them.

I am the same in the real world, and I bet you're that way in the real world too.

Here's a question.

Do we think Kouta called Wilson up and said "Hey Jimbo, how about you write a big article in the Hun, using all the nasty stuff in my book about Pagan. Cause like I wanna sell heaps of copies of the book".

I reckon Pagan has been very good about all of this! He knew they went behind his back and still held his head up high.

He could have come out on SEN and blasted Kouta but he didn't and I commend that.

Lucky they are both retired and away from the club at the moment but Chris Judd is probably thinking .. what have I got myself in for?

Oh give me a break !

He held his head up high?? He only did this cause he wanted to continue to laugh all the way to the bank.

And he didn't blast Kouta because he knows what Kouta said was right, and he wanted to take the moral high ground.

And I don't think Chris Judd could care too much about these events. You're being hysterical.

After going through the Blueseums draft page and having look back through the past players section as well, I reckon I've narrowed it down to two.

Heard that this morning and was thinking that it sounded like Hulme.
I remeber hearing pup speak to the media on several occasions and he spoke very well, as for franga.....don't think i heard him at all during his time in navy.
HULME for me.

If memory serves, Franchina had a slight Italian accent, as though he had only been Australia a short time :?

It seems to be standard for footballers to have excerpts of their books in the H/S, and naturally they would publish titbits designed to get everyone talking (it worked!).

My question was has anyone heard Kouta himself spruiking the story today? I'd like to hear what he has to say in light of how it has been received.

I know what you're saying Mrs Cazz, I guess what I'm saying is there is a thin line between Kotua concocting all this up, and maybe him going to The Hun and then Jimbo saying "Hey Kouta, I reckon the Pagan stuff is explosive, let's publish that".

I don't doubt for one minute Kouta knew this would be good PR. As I said, every man has a right to make money, and if I were in his shoes I would do the same,. but only because there'd be some nice revenge on Pagan.

I also have no doubt Kouta might be freaking out a bit. As I said earlier, here is one player I have not heard one bad word about (until today). People who know him love the guy. I reckon he might have been a bit naive and is freaking out over all this.

But then again, I doubt he reads TC.

Sorry if mentioned before but has anyone noticed the remarkably similar wording between the Hun & Age reports of Denis' comments:

Maybe I'm mistaken then. But I seem to remember Franchi having a very subtle accent that would only be noticeable at certain times. Not like a "That's a spicy meat-a-ball" kind of thing, but certainly not as occa as other Italian/Greek Aussies.
