Port have ended there sponsorship deal with Allan Scott, knowing his daughter is a huge carlton supporter could the scotts be tipping in a few coin into carlton.

Wow, that's interesting, unless of course this means that Port have actually extended their deal with Scotty. He is a very proud and passionate Port man and will be until the day he dies.

Not true actually. They have just downgraded their sponsership and now are more involved in player development. The article on realfooty or the hun website explains it.

Thanks Camel. Gotta look after us Taswegions! I knew i had read it somewhere. To me that article implies he has just downgraded his sponsership a little and will still remain involved. Very much doubt Alan Scott would sponser anyone but Port.

The Advertiser - News Limited Australia - Jun 9, 2006 Carlton will benefit. Collingwood was Scott's other thought. In terms of the sponsorship contract which expires At the end of the season

Scott stays true to Power plays
Herald Sun - News Limited Australia - Jun 8, 2006SOUTH Australia's richest man Allan Scott yesterday signed a two-year ... some fuelled by Scott himself -- of taking his sponsorship to Carlton

Doesn't Scott have some involvement with K&S Frieghters, who were our shorts sponsor?
