If Burnie is in NSW, then Fev was there for a charity gig this week as per the article in the Aged where he states that Judd could be Captain next year.

The were signing little footballs.....

They interviewed Fev and he said he was wrapped in having Juddy and said finals was a possiblity :-D :-D

Before the start of this season, Fev was talking about the prospect of playing finals.

I'm glad he has that sort of focus going into each season, but personally I wouldn't take Fev's opinion to heart here.

i'm looking forward to a season where fev gets some delivery and has no reason to drop his bottom lip. we might see just how good he can be this year, and onward

At the risk of further alienating my Sydney brethren, I don't think this is that big of a deal.

Memberships aren't on sale yet, sponsorships are always on sale - meeting the fans at this time of year would almost be a waste of resources.

Wait until late Jan early Feb, then bring up a few of the boys for a meet n greet, along with a membership tent, when the fans turning up can buy a membership in person.

What the hell are they doing here signing autographs???????

if it wasn't for publicity, then the cameras wouldn't have been there.

Supporters should have been informed.

I agree, it wasn't that big a deal, but we should have at least been told, so we could be there, or not.....

Actually, I retract my last post.

It IS a big deal.

How many potential memberships could have been sold on the basis of the Club having a meet 'n greet with supporters up here?

The Club is getting people to express interest in memberships, and add their names to a list, so they can be contacted when the membership packages go on sale sometime in November (not much more than a couple of weeks at most), so it would be far from a waste of resources. In fact, it could be a better investment of resources than a mid-season meet 'n greet.

There would be more of a chance to get people to add their names to that list in person rather than on the net.

I got an email from the club saying they would be in Canberra signing autographs. Murph is a ripping bloke and is rapted at the direction the club is taking. And Fev, as always, was great with the kids. I got a stack of things signed KK, what do you want???

I am SPEWING that the Canberra Times didn't cover it though!!!

I was thinking of getting Fev to sign FEV on one bum cheek, and LA on the other, and having the result tattooed.

from Ian Coutts.

'.......Brendan and Marc visiting Sydney recently during their annual leave, a visit the club was not aware of. Speaking with Marc today he confirmed that the visit was to attend the Motor Show as guests of Toyota and is part of a private sponsorship arrangement that has been negotiated with Toyota and their Manager......'

So please don't blame the club.

P.S we also suggested that perhaps JC...oops CJ could stop and talk to the supporter group if he was seeing his doctor in Sydney......got the big thumbs down.

I wonder if Kaptain Kouta is still SPEWING that neither Fev OR Marc bothered to tell him they were coming?

:P Just joking KK, no offence intended.
