Would you want us to tank?

In what circumstances would you accept another year of tanking.

Personally I'd just rather us win as many as we can next year, because even if we finish 9 or 10 it won't be a "waste", as it will have allowed our team to gel and provide a launching pad for the finals in 2009. Also the draft next year is meant to be very strong, so we are a decent chance to pick up a gun with say pick 8.

Your thoughts, under what conditions would you accept tanking?

I doubt Judd would be impressed at that idea.

If we're 4 and 8 at round 12 what makes you think we could get to the finals in 2009?

We'd have to out-tank Ninthmond though. It could get tricky!!

With the list we will have next year and the development we should see I don't expect we will be in that sort of position.

However if we are then we would surely be using the remaining games to work on developing the players and game-plan to WIN games ......... not to LOSE games.

If that means we still lose then so be it. But I would expect we would be winning more games by doing this next year.

If we are at that point, and I highly doubt we will be ( I reckon we'll be better than even for most of the year, and maybe drop off towards the end of the season), I reckon we just roll the dice and see what happens.

Play to win, and let's just see what the outcome is in September 08

Would be happy to put up with it, if it means we get another Judd. :-D

There wont be a need to tank in 2998.

Even if there was, I have had quite enough of tanking in 2007.

Tanks, but no tanks
