NMW has 2 kids from a previous relationship, 8yo boy and 6yo girl. 8yo is Essendon* like his mum, and 6yo was Bulldogs like her dad.....until she heard me singing the Blues song to Lil' Miss Wojee at bedtime one night.

A few nights of "ba bada bada" by request and she started to randomly burst into the Carlton song while doing 6yo stuff around the house. I didn't exactly actively encourage her but I sang when requested and provided a Carlton jumper for her school's footy day when she asked. She now proudly declares herself a Blues supporter and even took an interest when the Chris Judd saga was playing out in the media.

By all reports her dad isn't terribly pleased with her defection. Ah well

Nice work

I have had orders for 3 jumpers to be sent to Las Vegas and NZ
I'm finally getting through to my mates abroad that AFL is comparable, if not better than rugby union / league...........

Manage a kiddies footy team....at the beginning of the year close friend of my son's wanted no 12 (Nick Reiwoldt)...by the end of the year he had Matty Lappin's number

Oh yeah...mu little 3 year old finally strung the clubsong together.

He now has a weapon and knows how to pull at my heart strings.

It's a beautiful feeling listening to your kid sing the club song, and to know he's a bluebagger through and through and for life.

Yesterday, he had to take in a 'treasure chest' for something like show and tell, I guess. He had 3 of his favourite cars and a mini leather Carlton FC footy in there too. I saw the photos and it's priceless.

Go the bluebagger army....roll up roll up roll up...come and join the future of joy!

A bit of exposure is all that's required Kiwi because, after all, it actually is.
