I have it on good authority that amongst a recent find of ancient roman manuscripts a remarkable discovery has been made, which confirms Juilius Ceasar was a navy blue man !

This remarkable find, indentifies Julius Ceasar as the head of a tribe known as the Carltonii and they distinguished themselves from their troublesome neighbours the Collingii and the Essendinii by wearing the colour navicum celesti ( similar to navy blue).

the Carltonii tribe had its origins in the 'mens sana' and 'corpore sano', two small but noble clans.

In about 44 BC Julius Ceasar crossed the rubicon river to fight the king of the Aflingus, the much despised andreus the diminuitive (a name given to him by his enemies as a reference to his portly proportions)

In that year Julius Ceasar vanquished the evil king of the Aflingus on his way to eatblishing his global empire.

and as they say...... the rest is our history 8)

I have read a slightly different history, which has "Andrius the diminutive" as a reference to the hated tyrant's much mocked shrivelled genitals, and sexual pecadillos.

The history books commonly mispell his name and confuse the actual events.
The correct spelling is Andreus.

His empire emanated from the region of Vladimir.
And the word on the street was that to make up for his ....um how you say......physical inadequacies, he compensated by hunting the Carltonii to boost his ego and his reputation.
But this was to his great demise.
For it was the Carltonii that ended the tyranical rein of Vladimir Andreus and they went on to create an ever lasting empire of their own.

I think you mean Julius Caesar, not Ceasar.

A great read Rocco! I don't recall reading about this during the short coverage of Roman Wars earlier this semester but I must admit to not doing too much of anything that week.
