No one in the media mentions that the Priority Pick System was changed in direct response to the "ONE OFF" season tanks that Rod Waddell mentions.

No one says how Carlton was RIGHT ROYALLY REAMED again in season 2006 and because of the change in Priority Pick qualification criteria consigned to a Priority Pick AFTER the first round of drafts in stead of BEFORE.

The AFL changed the system to ensure you couldn't qualify for a PRIORITY PICK after one season of shite - the fact that we were shite for 2 seasons prior to the 2006 Draft meant nothing to them - and in fact penalized us in much the same way as our Penalties in 2002.

Now that we have merely used the system that the AFL have put in place everyone is having a whinge and a sook about it.

McChins had another at carlton on SEN this morning, bagged our handling of Lance and then threw in a line about Kennedy, Lance and moral at the club.

I love it!

I @#$%&! hated the way he and others talked about 'poor old carlton' because we were no threat, rather than the stumbling old grandfather no one likes but tolerates because he is old and weak.
