This year we won 4 games, but could have won 8 games at least but with Judd in our team and Stevens this season, nothing less then 11 wins is acceptable if both are on the field and we don't suffer injuries.

If everyone stays fit: 10-12
If we lose a one or two key players a few times (Judd, Stevo, Fev): 6-8

More chance of 09 finals, but you never know what might happen in 2008.

if judd gets injured we are back to square one...WITHOUT JK...

although Stevens in the team is huge for our team...

i hope we can at least win an equal amount of games as we lose...

if we tanked the last 11 games like everyone says then we should have finished with 15 wins which would have given us at least 4th and the double chance. Now that we aren't tanking I suppose anything less than a prelim is a wated year.

Realistically I believe we could snare about 9-11 games. In 2004 we played ok and got ten under our belts so i think its a possibility. If we land 11 wins, and the season is such that that constitutes a finals berth then that would be phenomenal. It may well be a year where we ebb and flow a bit. I wouldn't mind that, i just do not want to become or remain stagnate.

Balls out prediction 10 wins 9th (All depends on the start)

I believe that's a realistic goal 11 wins, might not get in the 8 but close to it. We won 4 games but was in the hunt for several games that could have got us at least 8. I think most of the guys in charge would expect about 11 wins after 3 years down the bottom after getting the best player in the comp and one of the very good players back from injury.

Brendan Fevola a goal kicker who can score a lot of goals plus the kids like Murphy,Gibbs stepping up a bit while the 50+ games players like Simpson,Carazzoo,Fisher,Waite would get better while Scotland,Houilhan have a lot of games also.

Without major injuires, and If we can pick up say a Rutten, Brennan or Bolton we're ragging. 11 games or more are possibile.
If not 7to 9.
Ciao

We will more than 7 games, you talking about Judd and Stevens our goal kickers would have a horror year if they couldn't score with these 2 guys added to what we have.

I think 8 wins would be good, sneaking into the finals would be a possibility.

However, one thing I would love to see would be for us to win some games by 50-60 points rather than scrape home by 1-2 goals like we have over the past few seasons. To be able to win by 10 goals shows that you can put in a 4 quarter effort and completely dominate the opposition on the day, not just be lucky enough to scrape home on the back of 1-2 good quarters.

12 wins is a realistic target.

Other than making the finals I'm hoping for the following:

1) Beat Collingwood
2) Win a game at Subiaco
3) Beat St Kilda
4) Beat Sydney

With a condensed table like this year, a result from 6th - 12th isn't too far out of the question imho. I'm gonna stick my neck on the line and predict 7th with 12 wins............

Beat Collingwood twice.

Beat Essendon* twice.

Beat St Kilda.

Beat Sydney.

That's for starters. So 6-12 wins next year is the range, and as such, a ladder finish of 7-11.

Christ, almost anything is an improvement on the last few years.
