Swann mentioned a few times already that immediately there's been a ton of interest from (very silly) supporters in getting Chris Judd gear. The interest and marketability of our club will be through the roof next year, and expect our number to grow beyond 40,000 next year.

Get on the wagon people. We should aim to outnumber the black&white and red&black armies in both size and volume. The time is now...

Let's hope the design and standard of Carlton merchandise is of a higher quality than it has been for some time. For this is how I like to spend my Carlton money.

You'd imagine once all sponsors are finalised, the club will offer jumpers with with the #5 on them.

I bought one this year. Social Club, even though I didn't get to a match.

New Mrs KK is getting a membership for 2008. So that's one more so far.... :-D

I think our new membership advertisement should be to the tune of the Twisted Sisters song "Were not gonna take it"

Then our slogan should be the pic from the age:

The Gloves are off! all 45,000 of them!

(45,000 being our membership goal)

I had two of the more fickle supporter type at work today declare they'll be signing up for a minimum silver membership from next year.

About bloody time, I said. :)

my word, imagine if the lines were open this arvo... we'd be on target already.

saw on perth news some clown in kalgoorlie got juddy to sign a couple (5 i think) blues guernseys two weeks ago, and his boots from the last game he played for west coast (5 grand he reckons he'll get)

it's started, i'm sure the club will be well aware of the need to get memberships available immediately

Happy as I am at the prospect of another record membership next year ..... when it's all said and done.... I really hope the Club doesn't forget all those members who have stood firm over the last 5 + years

they wont. we are carlton remember.

so lets not start rubbising people who are returning or jumping on for the first time, because i'm sure there will be many.

let's welcome them and not create any ill feeling between 'old' and 'new' members and supporters. if we're going to return to our glorious best, we need a huge supporter and membership base.

i worry that there will be too many grizzlers when things start changing... it's gonna be busy from now on, not sleepy hollow anymore.
