A lot of people have compared these two events in our recent history, but let's put it beyond doubt. Which ranks as the sweeter?

Personally, nothing short of another flag will replace the euphoria I felt when that siren went in 99.

99 we beat Essendon*...

07 we beat Collingwood, Essendon*, Richmond, Melbourne, etc.

I'll have to give it a big think before making a decision though..

99 Prelim....................what a silly question.

As good as Judd is (and he is GOOD)...........nobody has done what Kouta did in that game and there has never been a greater 'up yours' in football.............prior or since!

Ask this question not now, but each year for the next five.

actually seeing the faces in the Essendon* coaching box as murphy took that mark and held the ball is one magic moment to treasure.

but judd holding up a premiership cup in the navy blue - and taking us one ahead of Essendon* will beat it.

When Juddy kicks the winning goal to sink the Pies in the 2009 prelim, that will be the sweetest moment, until then '99 remains the one :)

it's all in the username.
What a shame Mercuri missed
What a shame Wallis couldn't get around Brown
What a shame Moorcroft antagonised us so much that we came out breathing fire
What a shame that SOS chose the 3 quarter time huddle to deliver a inspiring speech (unlike his work on ten)
What a shame Lance kicked the goal of the match
GREATEST FLOWERING FOOTBALL DAY OF MY LIFE
