JK wanted to stay a blue... and i hope he always has some bue blood pumping through his heart,

He has shown more for this club not on a footy field than some people who have played many more games than him...

Get him back in two years when his contract expires and free trade comes in!

Yes, for a young man, Josh, you have behaved with great dignity and shown great character.

We are sad to lose you, Josh, and most here had hoped we could orchestrate a way to keep you, but it was not to be. We are all very proud of how you have behaved, and to your great credit you have shown us all how to handle difficult situations with style and grace.

We will all watch you develop your career, both with sadness and pride.

Best wishes Josh - you will always have a little bit of navy blue in you, and a little part of us will always be barracking for you..

Shattered to lose him, but that's the way it goes. I was shattered to lose Minton-Connell in the Williams deal too.

If there's something to have, there's something to give.

Thanks for everything Josh - may you become the superstar you deserve to be.

The way you have conducted yourself amid all this turbulence is a credit to you, Big Josh.

May you have a long and successful career - and please drop by at Princes Park anytime you're back this way.

Because you will always be a part of this family.

Yeah, a real pity we couldn't have sent them somebody who didn't particularly want to stay.

Good luck to the big fella. I hope he plays 200 games and wins a flag over there.

The trade period sucks

Have a great career...you deserve it.
I hope WC are n't taking you because they can but because they want you.

You know where to come if that's the case!

Deeply saddened.

Proud to know you as a Bluebagger. You've touched us all.

Good Luck. I'll always barrack for you (except when playing against the Blues).

You're always welcomed back. You are family.

Take care, and look after your mum.

Josh you've shown so much heart and love for the club, and we won't forget that.

You'll never get a single bad thought from me, and I'll watch your career with the eagles closely.

good luck.

You leave the club with dignity and complete best wishes of ALL.

When you play against us I will applaud you no matter what you do.

Unlike 2 other flowers who left the club over the past few years and besmirched their names.

Although the number 5 locker will not have your name on it - you will be remembered and who knows you may come back to us some day. 8)

But it will probably cost us. :P

I agree with all the sentiments posted so far.

Big Josh, your integrity cannot be questioned. I can only imagine what the last few days have been like for you and hate that the current AFL system, rightly or wrongly, forces clubs into treating players with little emotion or apparent care. Take it from this supporter that there is plenty of empathy for your plight.

I wish you well for your future career and hope you flourish into the player we all know you can be. I won't even mind if you dominate a few games against us.

Thank you.

(sorry! )

Anyway.................. To Josh Kennedy! Thank you ever so much and congratulations for taking this heavy burden with grace & dignity! That's 2 key-ingridients in becoming a champion and i wish you the best of luck in your endeavours to find the rest!

sad way for you to go...we all had high hopes for you...hopefully you understand that for any other player in the league we probably wouldn't have asked you to do something you didn't really want to do...and it's unfair on you and ur family the pressure that has been put on ur shoulders...

no doubt u will have a great career and we will all follow your progress...good luck Josh...

if u agree to go anyway...
