Pub deal is as good as dead

Why Josh, how are we going to get income outside of footy now. Surely we are not going to keep on solely relying on sponsors, members, fund raising for ever.

serves some of you right, the past 2 weeks some of the crap spewing out about how we are going to be a power house and wondering why juddy would want to go collingwood, melbourne and Essendon* when there clubs are more stable then ours.

we are damaged goods, and until i actually see these so called 20 million dollar state of the art facilities, so called biggest sponsorship in afl club history, i would keep my mouth shut from bagging others.

we have been nothing but a disgrace for the past 4 years, and some how arrogance has already crept back in and we have yet to achieve anything.

become arrogant when we start winning, like the power and pies.

as for this 3.1 million dollar profit almost 4 million was in hand outs and donations.

Besides I'd take the pub deal over that profit anyday, as great as it is

The pub deal would have been revenue year in year out.

Our profit this year is great, but there are some 'one off' items in there that inflate it.

If true it would be quite a blow to lose the pub deal. Only guessing, but it might have something to do with the recent movements in the credit industry in the last couple of months.

If these have truly been lost then it is extremely disappointing, especially considering the hype in the announcements and the statements of 'securing the future' blah blah blah. WTF hapened? I don't accept changes in the markets as a reason. That was always going to happen.
