I can't see any announcement in the next 2-3 weeks. This week will be full of the Brownlow and then GF build-up. Next week will be post GF wrap-up and then start of trade week discussion (including all the Judd stuff in between).

We'll get a fair bit of publicity during the Judd trade speculation, so I think if the club has got its marketing down pat then we won't get an announcement for at least three weeks. They'll wait for an opportunity to grab maximum exposure when not much else is going on in the footy world.

I would have thought the sooner the better, who wouldn't want there logo on the back wall thing in media conferences when Judd comes to Carlton or when hundreds of photographers want to get pictures of the #1 pick in there new carlton shirt with the sponsors on the front.

But what's going to get more publicity? Your logo placed haphazardly in the back of a few photos, or one huge AFL announcement when there are few to compete with it?

I'd rather it be sooner, because I'm curious, but such is life.

if Pratt is injecting millions, and getting the biggest sponsorship ever, then surely he can somehow bring back to live Princess Park, and we get to play there again.....

Boris Becker tried to kick me out of my seat about 10 years ago at the Aust Open. I told him that I paid for that seat and for him to get [REDACTED].

In BBs defence though (gotta be nice to him since he is going to be our major sponsor), he did have some tax problems back home. He probably didn't have the cash to buy a ticket.

Which begs the question...where the hell is he getting the $$$ to sponsor us??? Hmmm...I smell a rat...

PS. Sorry for the stupid posts...Mondayitis for me...

Lets face it, we don't play well anywhere.

We were shit at PP as well in it's final 2 years.

Watching the VFL GF though reminded me what a great ground it is.

True story too. He actually tried to get security to throw me out, but when I showed them my ticket they told him it was my seat, but that he could sit directly in front in the players box if he wanted. He threw a hissy fit and stormed out. The security guy apologised to me for the disturbance and called Becker a wanker.

Don't think I want that man sponsoring my beloved Blues :(

Boris Becker once looked at my doodle :o . Yeah, true story. I was having a pee at the tennis and had a funny feeling the bloke next to me was checking out the goods. I looked to my right and there was the big fella looking down and to the left.

Obviously he was impressed with what he saw  .

We could be sponsored by the Australian Navy and become "The Navy Blues". Kinda has a nice ring of familiarity.

Or maybe we can get Richard Branson off his arse to sponsor us and become "The Virgin Blues".
