Why can't he just have JUDD on his back?

..yeah i'm a huge fan of other sports such as soccer having the name & number on the back.. ..looks great.. ..AFL should make it happen.. ..also would be good to see in years to come the name & number on yer own guernsey so you'd know whether yer 25 is a fev or jezz..

Mark my words... AFL will introduce this... but not yet.

It will happen the day after Lewis Roberts-Thompson retires and Jarrad Oakley-Nicholls gets delisted.

To show what a class act Murphy is, he authorised Swann to offer Judd #3 if that would help bring him over, and it formed part of our pitch. NOT because of the number itself, but as a demonstration of how much his prospective teammates want him at the club.

i can't think of a word strong enough to describe my feelings for murph- that is just unreal if that's true.

but it is also poor form by the club if they do that to him, very unfair on murph to have to do that (even though he offered it himself). we can't have everything revolve around judd and that's why i'm a bit iffy as to whether i want him or not. he's gonna earn 3 times as much as the next player, he's going to walk in to the captaincy, he's going to steal our best prospect's number it's just all too much to give up for anyone, esp. someone who has question marks over his body.

So then where do we stick Murpho? Would he get the #1 if the Walks talk is anything to go by?

1. Murpho
2. Jordo
3. Judo
4. Gibo
5. ...

3 is spare at Melbourne and 8 is now free at the Collingwood , that is all that is relevant to Judd.
