Courtesy of styles from thesexysquad. Mil would've been screaming "That's for decking me in 93 you flower!"

Did anyone else feel after the GF the week after that it wasn't such a big deal? It was strange, for me it felt like we had just lost a normal game. In 1993 I remember being shattered, heartbroken, and as miserable as I can ever remember. But in 99 I simply saw it as missing out on the icing on the cake. I think Rohan was spot-on about how the prelim was our GF in a lot of ways, and I know many blues fans were so drained and invested in it that it was kinda hard to bring that same intensity into the GF.

The pain of losing has actually intensified over the years considering how long it's been since we've played in one. Had I known it would be our last for such a long time I probably would've been more filthy.

Fantastic. There was movement.

Definitely turgidity.
