Dubai is due to run out of oil in about 10 years. They are desperately trying to develop their economy into a tourist/business based economy. They have been spending billions on some (frankly) crazy projects. Some of which can be seen via satellite.



Personally I think they will struggle to attract tourists to a place that is regularly over 40 degrees in summer, the businessmen will leave when the oil and the money dries up. Has the makings of the biggest white elephant of all time.

BUT the billions will be flowing for another 10 years.

Spending a few million a year to advertise to an affluent audience of millions using CFC is not beyond the realms of possibility. Hope it happens.
