Know much about what was said in the discussions with Judd and Carlton, Synners?

All i know is were a preferred club and Melbourne and Essendon* arent.. and Collingwood are scratching their heads about how to make a deal( they have more of a chance to win the flag this year....)... so id say the meetng went realy well...

Umm...that's what a few of us here have been saying...how are Collingwood going to make a deal without being raped by us or Richmond?

Golly. The mind boggles as to which company would have the resources to pour enough into a sponsorship deal that would dwarf the rumoured Vodafone figures. Would have to be of quite a high profile, you'd think (and hope).

A banking/finance firm, perhaps? A fizzy beverage producer?

Thanks for the cryptic but bloody exciting scoop Sinners.

Massive is something I can handle.

This is the most exciting thread for a long long while.

I'm looking forward to the unveiling.

If it's 5 times more lucrative in financial terms than the Voda play, then it's got to be as big as a bank.

Which Bank?

Carlton FC Credit Union?

Whatever...it's going to be big for our club...that's all I care about!

I really hope the redevelopment allows for the club to maintain its heritage.

The Robert Heatley Stand is an important link to the club's past. I would prefer to see that redeveloped than knocked down.

They can do whatever they want to the Legends Stand. It was poorly designed and was half-baked.

Congrats on the engagement and upcoming wedding Beano. :-D

Thanks for sharing the news Synners! You may be very negative on a lot of things, but you can always be counted on, to be the bearer of some good news with inside knowledge. Thanks mate! Can't wait to find out what it is! :-D

Speaking of that, I wish I also had sources. Everyone here seems to have reliable sources here and there. Feeling like I'm not pulling my weight around here. Ok, to make it up, I shall now declare myself to be the provider of all sauces. If you guys need any sauces, give me a yell. If I can't provide a source, I will @#$%&! provide a sauce instead.

Go Blues!!!
