very surprised that walker came it at no.10, was expecting at least top 5 and interesting to note that carrazzo didn't manage a vote since round 18. also surprising is houlihan at 4 when i wouldn't have had him in my top 15, and murphy not managing a top 10 finish despite playing every game. well done to gibbs on a 9th placing.

Well done to the TC whipping boy Hoops on his top 4 finish. Had an awesome year and obviously played his role as instructed ... glad his efforts have been noted publicly.

Good to see the medal get some credibility this year with Carrazzo taking it out.

Crap voting system if you ask me. One BOG can earn you 25 points. So if someone has 5 great games, they could effectively come top 5.

Change the system so all 5 vote givers combine there votes to come up with the top 5 players who then get 5-4-3-2-1.

Consistency will then be rewarded, rather than a few big games. Fisher and Simmo had much better seasons than there results indicate. More consistent.

Interesting to see the possessions = votes.

Congrats to Carrots and Scotto.

I'm sure BV would be hating seeing Waitey up the top there.

Well deserved by Carrazzo. He's been the oneshining light that I think we've all more or less ignored this year. Great year, congrats Andrew :-D

congrats to carrazz
Health Scotland close behind - yes, he gathers possessions but his disposal is very average at times. I still don't rate him.

Most posters who look at players on a performance basis instead of just week after week bagging them, had Houla in the top 5.
Also, if they read the press week after week they would have seen him listed amongst the best players most weeks.
Maybe they will shut up and be more objective now.

Great night.

My left ear is still ringing after sitting next to danny. :P

Jordan Russell was just ahead of me in the taxi queue at about 3am, he looked as fresh as a daisy. What a good boy.

Fantastic to catch up with the cazz'zzz, chiefs and others.

Carrots made a nice speech about how proud he was to win tthe award especially growing up barracking for the blues and idolosing past winners.

Great to see Waite get third, had a great year. Start of big things for Jarrad.

Great news, made my weekend.

Deserved b&f's are few and far between, so good to see someone who actually performed get one.
