Danny, if he's as pig-headed as some think, the PP may not end.

Changing it means admitting that games were 'fixed'. (Or he may blame it on the "perception" that games were fixed).

It all depends on how this weekend pans out. But the demetriF*ck doesn;t like doing backflips.

I hope it doesn;t end cos if we trade Fev as some want to (I don;t), we'll be eligible for another PP next year, mark my word.

Mark Robinson wrote in The Herald Sun today about last night's game of mistakes.

He finished the article with this dig at McGuire (and his hatred for Carlton)

"The talking point came at halftime when Eddie McGuire, on Channel 7, said Carlton's selections over the past month were entirely aimed at securing the priority draft pick.

Absolutely certain, Ed said"
..............................

Coming from a team which blatantly tanked in 05, he'd know, I guess.

Coming from a team who rested Fraser, Didak and Rusling for reasons that had their own supporters wondering about tanking.

Teams tank for different reasons. Pies had not much to gain last night as they needed unlikely results to go their way to go top four. It is likely they will play Adelaide again but with those 3 included. They certainly didn't fight the game out last night.

Saints today were lethargic and going through the motions until the end which they pulled out for a couple of retiring players.

Their motivation for losing wasn't anywhere near as strong as ours but they were still prepared not to give it their best.
