Does that mean Toyota pinched the Nazi's copyright for the Landcruiser?

Japan and Germany were allies in the war so it makes you wonder...

Just to prove that these journalistic clowns get all their material from footy forums just have a look at the picture at the top of the page within Blueice's link.

Remarkably similar to George's pick to start this thread

Just as well they didn't name the article headline "The Biggest Tank: The LandKREUZER", wouldn't want to give it away too much would they

Can't find the link but this thread with said picture features in The Age today with a reference to TC.

Quote:
The biggest tank in history
Last year it was the Bryce Gibbs Cup, this year everyone's rattling on about how Carlton needs to lose on Sunday evening to gain a priority draft pick and, most likely, outstanding junior ruckman Matthew Kreuzer. The footy chat rooms are going into overdrive, and one of them - talkingcarlton.com - came up with a cracking little fact. Kreuzer is German for cruiser. As in "Land Cruiser" (the AFL's sponsor will be happy). Or, more importantly, as in "Landkreuzer", the name given to leviathan Nazi tanks developed during World War II (the AFL's sponsor won't be happy). One Landkreuzer prototype was of gargantuan proportions (seven metres tall and 2500 tons), as compared to Matthew Kreuzer (199 centimetres and 91 kilograms). All of which sets up beautifully for any Blues supporters who want to hold up a sign in the MCG crowd on Sunday: "We tank so we can land Kreuzer" (the AFL won't be happy).

The Herald Sun also quoted something I posted about tanking yesterday.

But if these guys want to sell more papers, they really should be quoting tommi and rambo.

If their not making stories or ideas up, their stealing it.

See how they darkened that image to stay inline with copyright infringement, it's exactly what some of them (not all) do when writing articles.

Orangewhip is the guy they need to get hold of:

Tell me you wouldn't buy a paper with those sorts of editorials!

Good point. I loved that owl beak one.

But I'd probably get GWS to edit the glossy magazine:

In: ejaculate.

Out: kitchen renovations.
