Oh yeah, Stevens captain with Simpson as VC

And if we really need another deputy....Murphy I spose, but Gibbs may turn out to be a better leader. Who knows.

I like it Don, pretty much on the mark. Although I think we need Betts in the FP changing on the ball. He is too magical to leave out.

Eddie still infuriates me. If he plays to his best every week then hell yeah I'd have him. But if he's having one of his off days I'd rather someone else be there who might actually get a kick.

B: Jamison O'Halphin Thornton

HB: Gibbs Scotland Bower

C: Simpson Carrazzo Walker

HF: Fisher Waite Houlihan

F: Betts Fevola Hartlett

RR: Aisakie Stevens Murphy

Inter: Cloke / Grigg / Jackson / Kennedy

Emerg: Jacobs / Edwards / Austin / Anderson.

Setanta was the hardest choice for me...........but i think he could become a 'Dustin Flecther' type for us. As much as i hated the bastard, full credit must go to Pagan for giving him a shot in the ruck...........even if he wasn't that great with hit-outs, what it did do was give him a taste of football as it's played through the centre and up forward. If we continued to leave him down back he would learn nothing when it comes to leading, hitting a target, finding a team-mate (and the one in the best space to!). Spoiling your opponent, as important as it is, is just one aspect of the game and a player like Setanta NEEDS to learn so much more.

Aisakie i have great faith in. Mark my words, he WILL be our #1 ruckman in 2008! Ackland should praise the lord that he went down injured cause had he played, ackland wouldn't have had a chance in hell in making it back into the seniors!

Speaking of Ackland.......................i cut the prick................! He ain't in my team.

Waite i would love to see as CHB, but he does he's best work up forward so i've left him as CHF because i don't think Kennedy is quite ready for that just yet. The other one i was considering was Setanta........he knows how to take a grab! Remember the game against Melbourne at the G? Setanta was a brilliant target accross CHF.

Houlihan only JUST made it into my team............only JUST and mainly because of he's experience. But also because i think Denis butcherd him by throwing him into defence when he clearly needs to be up forward. But i still have never forgiven him for being a soft little girl (the final PP game of 05 REALLY did it for me!)
If he doesn't shape up..............i'll replace him (probably with Jackson or Snake!)

Hartlett could move up to the CHF line if he keeps himself fit......i think he could well become our next Aaron Hamill.

Grigg will be better next year................this kid is gonna be a star!

Gibbs and Bower i've put accross CHB because the two best & strongest points of their game in my opion is their ability to move it out of defence.
Bower needs to add some defensive qualities to his game thou, but when he does he'll be the perfect player for us in this position.
Gibbs played his best football in the position with Glenelg! He always knew when to leave his man & when to stay with him!

I wasn't totally sold on Cloke, but i did love his tapwork. He did ok in the games he was playing in so i'll give him another chance. But next in line would be either Jacobs or Hamson.

My Captain would be Simpson with the Vice Captaincy going to Murphy!

I haven't put in Kruzer cause a) i haven't seen enough of him & b) he ain't on our list yet!
