I see the Club's taken the Injury list off the homepage..

I've been privy to a draft of the list which should be going up sometime tomorrow.

Apart from the ones we know about, (Fev, Thornton etc) there's some new additions...

Heath Scotland - infected pimple - 1 week
Andrew Carazzo - leather poisoning - 1 week
Kade Simpson - Hysterectomy - 1 week
Setanta o'Hailpin - feeling a little green - 1 week
Cain Ackland - High Anxiety - 1 week

Any other additions to the injury list I may not be aware of??

Rich

andrew walker: lost car keys on tuesday, has not been able to find them. no team-mates willing to give him a lift to the match, and sunday's scaled down public transport timetable means he could be waiting anywhere between one hour and two for a bus. he has also lost his concession card.

jordan russell: forgot to do this weeks washing.

marc murphy: woke up at someone elses house. doesnt know where he is or how to best get to the ground.

bryce gibbs: emergency call back to adelaide. all myer stores in SA are having a one day only sale.

Maybe we should be worrying more about Melbourne's 'injury list'?

You've got the Ackland one wrong, it should read...

Cain Ackland - General incompetence - Test

I think he will play. ;)

20 Clint Benjamin - grounded (4 weeks)
21 Mark Austin - stubbed toe (2 weeks)
39 Sam Jacobs - shaving rash (test)

The reason why they have taken the unjury list off the homepage is because all of the injured players are expected to play this week. I believe that Ratten has said that he wants to test the stamina and commitment of our players under duress. I think he was quoted saying something like "Even if all they do is stand on the ground for 4 quarters and not move an inch, I want to see the courage of our players. It will serve us well as we move forward."

Doing this will also give Kouta a chance to come out of retirement for one last time. He will just run around the ground accepting a standing ovation all game.

HO - 4: Hampson 2; Ackland 1; Carlos 1
