The new general Ratten will learn in heat of battle

You have to be impressed by the way Pagan has handled the whole situation, but then it can't have been much of a shock so he had plenty of time to get used to the idea of being sacked.

i'd handle it well too if i was gonna earn 600k next year for doing nothing.

but in all seriousness, i've been impressed with the way pagan's handled the situation from day one, he hasn't looked in the rear view mirror once.

Apparently he made a slip when he was interviewed at half time yesterday when he said that "Glen Archer is a legend of our Club"........ :-D

Agreed - no matter if he's getting paid or not - it would be difficult for any human being to control themselves when they think they've been hard done by - just like Sheedy's potshots at the Bombers board....

Presume he was referring to Barry Mitchell here?

or Jesse Smith and Callum Chambers prehaps

They've shown on their myspace sites just how much they felt important and valued.

That said you'd have to be a pretty rubbish coach if every player that left the club loved you.

Jesse Smith and Callum Chambers don't see nothing to suggest that if it's them, all i see is someone acting like a 15 year old on myspace,if it is them maybe if they were dedicated like Craig Bradley they would be in Carlton today.

I thought it was a snide too.

Less efficient. That's a good one. The guy is only 5 weeks into his tenure, he's been told to lose games, he has more kids out there than we've had in probably over 37 years with Lappin, Fev and Houlihan now out, and Pagan has to take a cheap shot.

I don't care what Pagan has to say.

I've already forgotten that he even coached us.

Pagan will go down in history as a shinboner. Pagan. Carey. Archer. Martyn.

His time at Carlton will be as irrelevant as Jezza's time at St Kilda.

Gee, you guys are sensitive  . He's making observations on the new style Ratten plays. It's fact, not opinion.

I thought it was an excellent piece and he was extremely complimentary towards Ratts.

If anyone actually believes Denis Pagan wrote that piece, I have some beautiful swamp land to interest you. 8)
