Couldn't this comment go in one of the other tanking/game preview/bulltish threads?

As I place the scratched vinyl on my turntable again...

For all the flaws tht the NRL has, at least each team plays each other the same number of times in the H and A season.

This basic condition must be addressed before premierships (and wooden spoons) regain their true value.

Not true Bluedog - for example - Sharks only played Knights, Storm, Eels and Cowboys once this year from my quick review of their draw...
Also - it's a 25 round comp with 16 teams.

But I agree - as long as the comp is built on revenue, you need to scrap compensating poor performers situations where a "down" team is playing teams who might be "up" twice, and other "down" teams only once.....

Thanks for clearing that up House.

That's how despondent I am at the moment. I couldn't even be bothered to check my statements for accuracy.

Should have known the NRL were not that clever.

He (Mr Swann) said the honour and pride associated with the club's traditional navy blue jumper was priceless.

I hope so -because then it makes our thrashing of Melbourne even sweeter as we consign the Tiggers to the wooden spoon they think they've avoided.....

So I'll ask again, as in the other thread re the Kangas game, what is the point of all the sooking?

Oooh - ooh - pick me Mrs Caz - I know the answer!! :)

You have to laugh - when CH 10 are guaranteeing that they're going to keep it on the agenda all week (and from the 10 minutes I saw of "Before the game" at midnight starting it themselves) - we're going to hear enough of it in the mainstream without even fighting off the hordes here.....

What is the point of posting anything?

Financial gain? Widespread approval of other internet geeks? A sense of worth? Free spins at the pokies?

Perhaps we should all just stop posting anything that you don't like?

The world doesn't revolve around you, so just get over it.

man you guys are quick to the boot.......................
obviously i posted before i read the others, but am i the only one to begin a new post in so doing...................
i may not be a regular, but on 3 occassions now i've been critised for an "improper" post ................
perhaps there needs to be a permissions list as to who is "allowed" to post irrelevant threads in inappropriate places, and another for the rest of us plebs

just as i was about to remove my post because i read the end of a 3 page thread, give me a chance to review, please.

thanks for your time!

No, you don't get it ... I'm asking a serious question and you appear to be refusing to answer it. I have not actually even said whether I like it or not.

If everyone had to justify their reason for posting here, this place would very quickly become the tedious medium you most obviously crave.

I don't have to answer to you. I will not now and won't ever.

Move on.

Minuteman...perhaps if you read the threads before posting, you might be more in tune.

There are more than enough threads going now to participate in.....

and this is not just directed at Minuteman....it is at all of you! :!:

Yup. If you were really interested in what I was thinking you wouldn't be conducting yourself as have been.

But your conduct is about what I expected.
