Just had a look at the last three years.

Last year was terrible.

Fevola 84
Betts 20
Waite 18
Whitnall 15
Koutoufides 12
Simpson 11

2005 was OK.

Fevola 49
Waite 36
Lappin 25
Whitnall 24
Betts 19
Fisher 13
Stevens 13
Longmuir 10

2004 was even better.

Fevola 66
Whitnall 24
Lappin 23
Camporeale 21
Fisher 16
Koutoufides 15
Scotland 12
Davies 10
Longmuir 10

2007 is definitely a better spread than last year, and before IMO, though I guess you are pretty much right Jarusa in that it isn't out-of-the-box. It's just that last year was so bad.

We went to a party last night that had a good spread.

I would say Fisher is a classy half forward flanker. There is nothing wrong with our attack, in fact for most of the year we have been second highest. We dont need more goals, we just need to concede less. I also believe Russell should play half forward, he has been fantastic as a lead up forward, marked well and disposed pretty well.

How does this work?

O'hAilpin 13
Murphy 11

Yet we are second last.... :?

We haven't had a spread like that for many years.

On the other hand we have had our worst run of defensive scores in forever -- 20 games in a row of more than 100 points against.

It's one of the best goal kicking spreads I've seen since 1995, yet we are anchored at the bottom.
Fish rates 14th in the league at the end of R21 and may score a bag this weekend ... now if only we could develop our forward options into scoring options, we'd have a spread like back in 95 or 99/00 again soon .. I mean, Murph can tear it up but he couldn't kick for $#1t .. Bryce isn't too accurate in the forward 50 either .. Setant', on the other hand - those celebrations are worth putting him up forward and maybe considering Saddo up back (IMHO)
