To all the pro Fev traders. Today and our forward line was a complete shambles without him. Are you prepared for 3 more years of tank talk if we trade him?

We have only won four games, and lost a heap, most with Fevola playing.

Last week is a case in point.

Our defence is our problem. 20 games in a row now we have let through more than 100 points.

Exactly....why can't he?.....it's up to him....if he's still with us next year.

Lance is in a similar situation.....ability when he's fit and injury free....but when is that?

Have a look at the 2 best teams in the competition. Both Geelong and West Coast have multi options up forward and their midfielders contribute goals as well. They have Mooney and Lynch. Is Fev better than these 2 guys

The bottom line in this argument is this

If you were going to trade Fev you would do it this year because if we dont any value he has will be lost I reckon.
Fev has stood out because he has played in a shithouse team.
That team will get better as he falls away.

I say trade him now if the right deal is found.
To totally dismiss any option to trade him is the sort of ignorance that has landed this club in the shit its been in in the last few years.

I'd have Fev over Lynch any day.
The last bit does make sense - IF it is going to ever happen????

With Lynch doing well and WCE trying to do everything they can to keep their list together as well as keep Judd, you can forget a trade with them.

Whether Fev stays at Carlton beyond '07 will depend on Rodney Eade.

No player is indispensible.....everything and everybody has a price.

Any House...Car...Player; is worth what a person/Club is willing to pay at any given time.

Goodbye Lance. Thanks for the memories when you were at your best.

He obviously found it pretty hard to hide it. But then again, he may just be setting us up for the "bombshell" of being axed as captain for next year
(even though Waitey said on MMM that Stevo was practically a shoe-in)

Certainly have your favourites don't you?? Happy to insult Kouta, a champion of the club, but get all sooky (just like your hero) when people suggest trading Fev.

Wooosh... right over your head. Not the point I'm trying to make.

Enjoyable to see you get sooo defensive about your man crush idol Fev. A guy that's done little to deserve it. But Kouta gets so little respect. I'm guessing you weren't at Kouta's testimonial. Would be very hypocritical if you were.

At Fev's age, Kouta was the best player in the competition. Fev on the other hand can't keep the tears out of his eyes after every marking contest. Does that mean that in 3-4 years time you'll be insulting Fev and calling for his head like you did for Kouta? Love em one minute and bag em then next. My favourite type of supporters.

Fevola is at the same experience level Koutoufides was at the end of 1999.

Koutoufides went nuts in 2000 and was the best anyone has ever seen.

Let's hope Fevola does that next year.

After being at the game today, it's clear Lance is gone. Knew where to go, but couldn't make it happen when he got there (finally).

Kouta being the Souvlaki king?
Thats not an insult thats his chosen career!
Kouta being all washed up for AFL footy?
Thats not an insult either... Kouta pulled the pin.

What point are you trying to make???

Oh and ow you know what hapens when 2 players are not concentrating on Fevola each week... and everybody has to go up one rung...

Oh and we dont need Lances big body.... it just doesnt get around the ground swiftly enough....

Just like i was saying ....

thanks Mr Double Standards. Defend the guy that spits the dummy on the field and acts like a wanker off it, but criticise others who've given their heart and soul to the club. Let's face it, you have your favourites. Consistency is not your thing.

Is that the same guy that though Lance was gone when he won the B&F?
Kouta was also in our best 22 before he got injured, so you were wrong there as well.

Does that mean if I say Scotland and Stevens are gone, and then they retire in 4 years I can say I was right, too?

Lance wasnt a good best and fairest choice. He wasnt the best player last year.
He started ok as a loose man acros half bak but his second half was woeful.
It was a political appointment so he could be captain...

Did you fal for it?
The writing has been on the wall as far as Lance is concerned for a few years....

You just had to recognise it.
