Bryce and Murph look like they can't wait for the season to end. Flat as tacks.

Carlton supporters have been spoiled by years of players being introduced to the fold when they were fit and hardened after a couple of preseasons. It's easy to remember that we talking about a couple of very young and slight boys, and this is the first full season each of them have played. Most teenage blokes struggle to wake up passed 10:30 each day such is the rest they need, these guys have had a massive workload and should be commended that it's taken 21 rounds before they're starting to show fatigue.

Agree entirely blu. They should mature into top players in the next few years, as hopefully most of our young guys do. Does make Selwood amazing though, for an 18yo, even though he's surrounded by classy experienced players.

PRO or CON ... take your pick: According to the commentators, Ackland took his first contested mark since round 8. Yep, since Round 8.

Liked JK's game. Follows his good effort at the Gabba before he got hurt. Might be starting to find some of that elusive confidence.

And he's not one of the glamour boys, but Banno did another fine job. He's finishing the season off well.

Bentick is making it impossible for Ratts to drop him again.

PROS:
Another game into the kids
PP one loss away
Looks like Fisher to miss next week... :-D
Lappin missed due to back strain after pushing his kids pram... :? ...u gotta love it.
We will be too smart for the Dees next week. Kruezer is ours.

CONS:
Given what's on the line no cons this week.

P.S. Just so i can look at myself in the mirror the Hack is the worst excuse for a footballer (and I use that word very lightly) I have ever seen.

Oh and JR...trade bait for mine.

Interesting question might have to use him as a sweetner to much larger trade. Maybe Port will buy in again who knows but to me he just doesn't look like he will make it...at Carlton anyway.

Really?

I suppose it would explain it if the pram looked like this:

CONS:

Channel Ten and Foxtel seem to think that having the Fremantle game on both stations at the same time instead of the Blues/Roos game is good programming, especially when half of WA would rather stick steak knives in their eyes than watch Fremantle win.

PROS:

I didn't get to see the game....

I hate that with our programming on the Lions.... Maybe since they're out - I don't have to watch them next week now. I would much rather have watched Sydney vs Collingwood with the rest of Ch 10 in Oz tonight than have the Lions shoved down my throat again....

My Pros for today were Bower and Jackson - those guys are going to be a crucial part of our turnaround in the near future - and I'm even happier with the Bower part of that, because I really was worried for a few weeks there......

I appreciate a nicely laid out log sitting in the bottom of the toilet bowl every morning.

Don't we all?

Pros

JK looked fine to me. Will be a handy player under a coach who gives him confidence

Hampson at least jumps at ruck contests. Something that Ackland seems incapable of doing.

Jamison good again

Max TV on Fox was playing the greatest 50 grunge songs, so I didn't have to watch Pagan's halftime interview on Ten (somehow Faith No More, Soundgarden, and Jane's Addiction seem so much more exciting)

The Australian on Saturday reported that an ex-CIA operative has been told by his mates still in the Agency that there will be a strike on Iran before January 2008. This brings Blueman's war closer to fruition, and therefore brings our finals campaign into the realms of September 2008.

another week but the same problems still exist

PROS
1 week closer to the end of the season

CONS

goalkicking accuracy- poor again (11.13) @ 46%
defence still a problem even with defensive style game and posession game
tacking still not good enough. tackles do not stick.
we had 47 tackles to norths 53 and thay had more posession than us
we continue to ball watch, rather than run to the next contest
defensive pressure from FWD'sand MID's is not good enough
turnover- we keep giving the ball away when under no or minimal pressure
skill errors- for professional footballers, even being young, we are shocking with our skills. missing targets 30 meters away is not acceptable.
accountability- we allow our opponents to run free too easily, we lose track of our opponents.
a 10 goal plus loss
6th highest score against this season
3rd lowest score for, this season
