DONT DO IT cj!!!

You are the only person on this site that can criticise Fevola without Fevolution dirtying up.
At the moment, that tape is giving you diplomatic immunity!

BV, I actually went and had another look at the tape and it is damning indeed. There is a part where Fev is playing for Vic Metro against SA at AAMI and has once again been dragged for his attitude. The coach comments that if he could get his attitude right he would go Top 10 in the draft. After sitting on the bench for most of the game he is brought on in the last minute and takes and great mark and kicks the winning goal much to the coaches frustration.

Also, didn't seem to be very liked by his teammates.

You watch this and watch him now and he hasn't changed a bit!!!

Bye Bye Fev

Can anyone plz enlighten me as to who will actually be kicking our goals given that fev is traded elsewhere?

I'm not for or against a Fev trade, but while your point has some merit it is also arguable that we could function reasonably effectively without Fevola.

Round 10: 21 goals kicked, 1 by Fevola.

Round 11: 22 goals kicked, 2 by Fevola.

And Brad Fisher has kicked 39 goals to date this year. So there's at least one 40 goal per year player for you.

I concede the above highlights are isolated and do not paint a consistent picture of our goal scorers, but it does show that if Fev was traded and the coach had to plan for 2008 without Fev on the list that there is evidence to suggest we wouldn't be the barren forward line you suggest.

I don't buy that Camel.

With Fev not there do you think we would have kicked all those goals during that time. Fev would of had 2-3 players following him when the ball came in which other players were free.

Fev not playing means Fisher gets the best fullback and so on.

I didn't say those stats were foolproof and yes, they are simplistic in their analysis. I don't deny the other guys would need to step up, eg. Fisher would probably get the best defender. Conversely, how many more goals might a Fisher type get if Fev is not in the forward line? Think positive. Like I said, I'm not for or against a trade for him.

But, read the last sentence again.

Read and agreed Camel.

To all those who what Fev traded, lets see how we go against the kangas this weekend as that's how it might be for a few years without him and until we can replace him. We could be talking PP's for the next few years.

Love him or hate him but I don't think we have seen the best of Fev yet. With the midfield getting better Fev is going to kick 100 in the next couple of years. Fev to stay.

I'm not sure why I need to take a stand on Fev. My view is pretty simple. If we get offered a very good trade, do it. If we don't, don't.

I kind of hope we keep him, because his upside is simply fantastic, but I had hoped his displays of petulance were a thing of the past, however as illustrated in that Mal Michael play this is not the case. That lack of mental strength had nothing to do with him being injured. Fev might argue he thought the ball had gone through for a behind, either way I don't think his behaviour was acceptable and was bitterly disappointed when I saw it.

I tell you camel.....I was bloody ropeable when he turned his back on MIchael....if that was a kid in a school team he'd be dropped for at least a month for disciplinary reasons.....he's like a spoiled brat.

As much as i love Fevs i agree.

I hate to think what his dummy spits are doing to our younger brigade (psychologically) who are trying their best to get the ball lace out to him.....

If the right trade can be struck I am ready for life after Brendan, for the good of the club i have loved for so long.

God you people are pathetic, he was playing on one leg with 2 defenders on him. You don't like him as a person? Good for you but don't try and make out like this attitude thing actually effects his football. I've never read as much dribble before since the last anti Fevola thread.

It affects his footy alright....kicked no goals on Saturday.....none.

He carries on like a spoiled schoolkid......menwhile Fisher just takes great marks and kicks goals without fuss.

And if he's injured....he shouldn't declare himself fit as he did.

Well he was injured and he helped the team by taking two defenders out of the equation including Mal Michael. Kernahan took the field a number of times while injured and did @#$%&! all but he was never criticized. Fans just need to look beyond their hate of the man and accept him as the Carlton star he is.

Just because you are injured doesn't mean you can carry on like a spoiled brat. He is just a bad influence on the team as a whole.

I believe the next two weeks will show that life without Fev may look pretty good!

Kernahan never leaned on the fence and argued the point with Umpires about free kicks and...........how could you possibly compare Fevola in the same breath as Kernahan?......you cannot be serious !!!

Fev isn't in the same league as Sticks as a team player

Just finished watching the Ch 10 News. Fev's a mess. He's having seperate operations on his groin, which has been giving him big problems, his shoulder, his finger, then his thumb. Not to mention the quad injury his had.

Seems Fev's had the odd fitness problem this season!

I loved Sticks but he never had to deal with what Fev has had to. If Fev played in the era and sides that Sticks played in he would have been an all time great.

He's been injured all year and had knee scans before the season even started. The keyboard commandos here have no idea what he has had to go through. Matthew Lloyd took a year off for a sore finger.

Nevertheless.....Fev will get more respect from everyone if he starts behaving like an Adult on the ground and not a spoiled brat.

Fevs would just be a blip on the radar in that era. He would not be tolerated.

Firearms if he can kick 80 goals in the worst Carlton side of all time with the flooding of modern footy to boot he would have killed it in the 90s.
