Rattens coaching
The kids.
Allowing Campo to look good which helps to hand us the pp.. and hopefully gives Campo an extended contract with the scum.
Gibbs gets to see Hird from close up. again

Cons.

I think Lance is trying to con us by pretending he is a footballer.

Right on the money as usual Synbad

He has been conning the club since 2001.
Thankfully that will end very shortly

Pro:

The maggots handing the Scum another win, which will only serve to inflate their and their supporters' sense of importance, so that when the fall comes it will hopefully be twice as hard.

Con:

The shit some of you people talk.

Fisher is starting to become a very very cosistant player.

Jamo. I think we got ourselves a beauty

Is it just me or does our backline look better without thorton........

It's just you.

Pros
Jamison Jackson gibbs murphy walker simpson waite scotland carrazo setanta houlihan bower
Bentick tremendous in the clinches
Fisher if everyone improves like this guy look out
Players adapting to a fundamentally different game plan in a hurry
CONS
Ruck is a joke -Ackland watched Laycock jump for tap out and sought to rove it -Laycock BOG
playing injured Fevola
Not being able to have setanta at fb waite at chb and thorton on third tall for 12 weeks because of deplorable rucking situation
Need extra speed
Another close loss for the supporters and 9 weeks of losses -really need to improve next year or some supporters will drop off

Pro's

Jamo. Showed some great signs and definately a keeper.

Waitey did some very good things at important stages yesterday. Just starting to mature as a footballer hopefully. Fingers & toes crossed.

TC's Paul bower. Looks very ungainly but steadily improving. Will thrive with extra development I reckon and will be a big improver.

Con's

Foot skills were deplorable, horrible and downright nasty. Must be a priority during pre-season.

I thought Ackland was bloody awfull. No @#$%&! idea.

Pros

only two more losses to come... and both against opposition that I can handle losing to (admission that I desperately hate Essendon* and can't stand losing to them... even with priority picks on offer]

only two more matches for Lance. Surely we can't offer him another contract?

Simmo and Fish are guns

Gibbs got to watch how Hird does it. The similarities between these guys should be apparent at the end of Bryce's career I reckon

Jamison did pretty well on Greg Louganis, who got his usual share of cheap goals

Great game from Paul Bower. Gave us that run out of defence we have lacked since Andy McKay retired

Nice effort by Jacko too

Essendon*... the scum are going absolutely nowhere but have somehow convinced themselves that they are just about to turn the corner into premiership contenders. Years of pain ahead.

Cons

I still hate losing to Essendon*

Great call, Molly! He's always been a diver, but since he got back from his injury, it seems to have gotten even worse. I haven't seen this week's game yet, but was just watching last week, and every contest he went to, he would catapult himself forward. But being in WA, he didn't get a lot of sympathy from the umps. They make a good pairing, him and Angus Moorefrees, the modern day Gavin Wanganeen.

Even though he's kicking goals at the moment, I don't reckon he's playing like a full forward at the moment. More like an Alan Didak, HFF type, playing for frees, and getting cheap goals out the back.

I don't think you've been watching the same Brad Fisher.

Marking has always been his strength.

Couldn't agreee more.

Have to disagree as well. I saw him play in his first year and some of his marking was breathtaking, especially one game against Adelaide at MC Labour Park.

I donno what i was thinking to be honest...but yes i have to disagree with myself now. I guess it's just good to see him finishing off his hard work now. I just hope he can stay un-injured.

OK Optus Oval then. I know I was there for one of my few games I get to see. No matter - still a great pair of hands.

Pros:

Scotland is one of the best players in the comp
The run of Houla and Walker
Lance moving well

Cons:

Losing to those pricks
Fevola injured
Lack of size and pace in the middle with too many midgets in our side.

He's been the best mark at the club since 2004.

Oh how could I forget

Cons: The fans wearing navy Blue who were actively barracking for Essendon* should stay the @#$%&! home for the next two matches, we were already out numbered enough.

PROS-

Houlihan - chasing opponents with the intensity to make a tackle.

Bentick - 31 disposals with only 60% TOG - has a lot to offer when he is allowed to play as an attacking midfielder.

Simpson - our most complete performer.

Waite - superb first half at CHB forced Sheedy to re-jig his team to take him out of the contest.

Scotland, Fisher, Setanta, Bower, Betts, Jackson, Jamo, Carrazzo

Saddington and Bannister - both playing better under Ratts and both showing they have more to offer than Denis allowed them to show.

CONS-
Whitnall - butchering the ball by foot and not passing to a loose man in a much better position - Lance was under so much pressure (perceived or otherwise) that whenever he got the ball his disposal was deplorable.

Fevola - whingeing to the umpire when the ball is still in play and what's worse, it seems to be catching because Whitnall started doing it later in the game.

Amazing. Den Den kept using him defensively and Ratts seems to have a problem playing him. :?

I'm not a critic of JR and he's made a bit of progress lately, but he's never accumulated that sort of ball.
