Can I have a coke with those 4 fried chickens?!

IF we win tonight I have a similar problem. One of my best mate's is having his buck show next Saturday night. Fortunately it's at the best man's house so I can keep a close eye on proceedings.

The only one who seems happy about it is my wife who will be relieved that I'll be more interested in the football than the 'entertainment'

Get the "entertainment" to perform right next to the television and enjoy the best of both worlds!

I'll have a word to the best man George and see if we can book in a pre-game/half-time timeslot.

Would certaintly be better than Angry Anderson, or the ever popular kids waving streamers to the tunes of 'Hooray for Everything'.

So the chicken has hatched, now it's decision time. I hope that whatever decision is made, it is Nick Stevens that makes it. I have a feeling that Nick will want to play (which would be great for the Club), but it really has to be his call! It's a very personal decision that has to sit comfortably with him and his family. Even if he doesn't play, it's a great position for the Club to be in to be playing in a GF (even if it is the Wizzer).

He's accepted the invitation to be the best man at his brothers wedding. He's gotta go, it's as simple as that.

Big loss next week.

He'll be a loss but theres a bit of mid-field depth there.

He needs to do whats right for his bro. If he's already accepted the job as best man then he needs to be there. Afterall people we are Carlton and it's only the Wizz Fizz cup, nothing compared to the real glory of premiership season success that we have come to expect, even through the lean years.

Having said that a win would be nice. :D

You think Stevens has a moral dilema, It's my fathers 70th on Saturday, and we're in the grand final

I think he'll play. He missed out on a premiership last year after leaving Port a year too early (not that we mind!). I don't think he's going to miss out on another grand final.

That's true BW, but he has a pre-season flag and a Michael Tuck medal already to his name so that would probably make the decision a little easier.

Kouta was interviewed in the Sticks room before the game and said that Stevo would play if we won. He said the whole thing was just a media beat up and that it had never been in doubt. Stevo's brother had looked up the 2004 schedule instead of the 2005 one when setting the date and accepted that he wouldn't be there if Carlton made the final.
