A mate of mine is a Tiggers supporter. I've been telling him for 3 years that we'll win a flag before he does, to which he has laughed his arse off.

When I spoke to him early this week his response was "yeah, I know you will" in a very defeated tone. He'll be getting regular text messages during games and emails on Mondays to back them up.

With the potential for 7 top 10 picks we'll need to have success, otherwise we'll look a lot like the Aints. We've got 2 years to get into the finals followed by a five year window to get as many flags as we can before re-loading.

Actually, I've been a more arrogant supporter in our bad times compared to our good times. At least with all the above, with the possible exception of Essendon*, those clowns have done nothing of genuine merit while we've been crap.
