handed himself well.......wants to stay at carlton....given up the coleman race for 2007.....good support for kade simpsons as captain so far.....wants to change his body language problems ---> recognises that its not good for the younger boys........gave the young boys a good rap, that they are tough and put their heads over the ball...and chad cornes is soft

HE handled himself pretty well hope he does pull his head in a focus on being oneof the leaders and a good influence on the young list. The club is in great transition for players like Fev to stand up and make a real contribution in bringing this club back to where it should be.
Spoke well answered all the questions well and certainly acknowledged his weaknesses

What did he say to/about Cornes?

Fevs said when he made a charge for the ball he thought he saw chad cornes duck his head...and bagged him about it. cornes than said something about carlton being sh$t and win a game. Fev then replied, atleast our young blokes have a crack and put their heads over the ball.

He said in a contest 10 mins before the end of the game Cornes went soft in a contest. He said he'd said it to try and get into Cornes' head. Port kicked the next 3 goals and the Chad started having a go at the end of the game. Pretty vocal for a guy who got beaten by Banno again! And that our young blokes are harder at it.

Fev spoke really well. Hope the club and he are 100% agreed he should be a blue in 2008 as he said. He's a fantastic footballer.

in my opinion, the most important thing he said was:

Gary: If you were traded to another club next year it could be a win-win. You could win more games...

Fev: I could go to another club next year, and get more wins, but the wins wouldnt mean as much. I've been through so much with Carlton...

He's a champ. 8)

Hopefully a few will take note of his commitment and get off the trading Fevola bandwagon. Why people want to trade such a valuable asset for potential is crazy. With ongoing improvement from the youngsters and stevens back next year, would be hard to see him not winning the Coleman.

Who gives a shit about the Coleman, if the team is starting to be more competitive?

I'd rather the team go for the team prizes rather than individual ones. But if he won the Coleman as an aside, I guess that would be a bonus

Yeah I think everyone wants more success. It would be an added bonus. If the full forward is kicking bags of goals or taking attention away from Betts; Waite & Fisher etc, hopefully that will translate into more wins.

That comment won me over. Still has 3 weeks to stop the tantrums though. another one can easily swing me back to trading him.

I had to cringe when he told the story about Ackland going to play for Preston & had to be introduced to Barry Mitchell for the first time.
:o

Am I the only one here who reckons that Fevolution believes that Brendan's shit does not actually stink? :P

I love Fev as much as anybody here. I just hope he means what he says and doesn't screw us over. That will hurt.

So frustrating though...he can be the best Carlton person ever, but then he can also be the worst. I just hope he stays as a one club player and give his all to the Blues.

Truly a flawed genius.

I love Fev and was very impressed that he came on although very nervous that he'd make a dill of himself.

His love of the club cannot be doubted and he at least understands what he needs to do to improve. His efforts over the past 4 weeks speak volumes of his desire to play good football for us and I would be shattered if we traded such a precocious talent.
