I believe Cloke's contract was given another year after his shoulder popped. He was faced with either temporary re-hab and a return to footy in 2007, or a full reco and the year out. We decided to give him the extra year to concerntrate on the shoulder.

Personally, I don't think he'll last longer than 2008 with Hampson and Jacobs in the system. He played okay in the NAB cup when everyone was playing really well........... so ???

As for Kruezer, if we end up with just the #2 pick we're still in with a chance, remember - Richmond have #1 and anything could happen

After the shit richmond copped bypassing Franklin and Roughead, there is NO WAY they'll pass on Kruezer if they've got the No.1 pick.

What really annoys me is that Melbourne will bounce back next year (we all know it) but if we do in fact beat them in R22, they'll have pick 2 and a pre-second round priority pick, and we'll just have pick 3. Pfft.

Its a simple concept but there are some that refuse to grasp it.

I can't see us not taking Kreuzer, we will make sure we don't win coz I believe Swann and co see him as a big part of our future. Especially given the lack of CLEAR midfield standouts (don't tell me about Cotchin, if you botch the champs ur not a clear standout) we would be crazy not to take a ruckman (Who fills a need) who just happens to be being referred to as a "once in a generation" player. I'm sick of people talking about Aisake (who may end up a wingman anyway), Jacobs, Hampson as if we already have the ruck sorted - my fingers are crossed but realistically they are still unproven and we don't know
