I think we will win - Sheedy is great at engineering results to piss us off - who remembers the last round or was it the second last round in 1988? It's all a little hazy to me now but I can vaguely remember them losing to Melbourne which made things bad for us. Or how about in 1989 when he did anything he could to avoid playing Geelong - yeah I can't recall the exact details but they have lost games under him which benefited them.

...or losing to Richmond in the last round of 2001 season to make sure we don't finish 4th and play them in week 1 of the finals having beaten them twice that year, only to come out and reverse the result and belt Richmond by 70 odd points in their first final.

Correct, Nick.

Who could forget Sheedy taking Hird from the ground 15 minutes into the last quarter when they were down by about 2 goals. Sheedy said it was because the game was over and they wanted to rest him, while Hird said it was because he made a skill error and was dsciplined for it. Try to get your stories straight boys  .

COWARDS!!

Let's face it, they lose this week and they automatically jump one spot in the draft while we lose heaps more.

I have no emotion for this week. None at all. :| .

yep that's one of them, Richmond supporters actually thought they won on merit!

You're not alone!!

I might have to look into a medically induced 2 week coma!!

There is no way I'm gonna go next week!! The frigg'n Bummers can't lose. Win, lose or draw they'll still feel like winners ......... the pricks!!

Chin up, Uncle John. Do not worry. We will let the bombers win this week. Do not worry, the PP is ours in 2007. Do not worry, our colours have not been lowered against the Bombers in 2007. Our come from behind victory in Rd 3 ensured that when it mattered, the Bombers are still our biatches. Do not worry, we will always be the team that has the wood over them, and will ensure they pee in their pants everytime we play them. Look forward to the years to come. We're gonna be very good... 8)

If Essendon* beats us this week, then it will probably be the last time they will beat us for quite a while.

This is because these teams are following different trajectories.

The blue trajectory is an upward one.

With all the Kreuzer talk, can someone report on the progress of Carlton's young ruckmen (Aisake, Hampson, Jacobs). Should Hughes et al feel that our future ruck prospects are covered, he might just recommend a gun midfielder for our first choice (Ebert?)

Can't have too many good ruckmen, and the current guys on our list are hardly gilt-edged prospects. Hampson is a project player who may pay off handsomely, Jacobs lasted until the rookie draft because of doubts over his speed and mobility, Aisake is a speculative project player whose best position is a matter of conjecture.

Hardly the sort of thing that would make the people planning our next tilt at the flag breathe a big sigh of relief as they tick off the 'ruck' box on their wallchart.

1 and 3 will get us a great ruck prospect and a wonderful running midfield prospect. Nice.

As much as I'd love the PP, I actually think we'll beat Essendon* this week. They're a bit of a rabble, and have only won 2 of their last 12 at the 'G.

How many of our last 12 have we won at the G?

Beaten Ess, Tigers and Dogs there this year.

Well to early to say if these guys will make it as a ruckman, they all projects except Sam Jacobs, but he is rather slow i hear more like a Ruckman of the past.
