That is the craziest thing I've heard here yet I reckon

Clarke deserves another game. He was probably the hardest at the ball out there today and did some good things.
He was also the only player that was running to link through the CENTRE :? I do wish we would stop this crap kicking to packs down the wing and run the bloody thing through the middle.

This is not an ability problem it is an attitude problem, too many players standing still, lacking confidence after we've flodded back and not running forward when we've gained possesion cause they're too scared it will turn over again. Part of the reason we turn it over is there is nothing to kick to other than a one on three against us. :x

If Camporeale is a downhill skier who runs hard to receive the balls, what do you call Houlihan who is afraid to even get into a contest? Camporeale is carrying a knee with a plate in his jaw whilst Houlihan carries a handbag. Trade to him Geelong! Clarke isn't as skillfull or as big a ballwinner as Houlihan, but at least he put his neck on the line all day and contested. As Dermott said in the commentary it's contagious when they see a teammate not go for the ball.

Everything you said is correct. Does that make Clarke a better player than Houlihan? No it doesn't. Houla oozes talent and can be a matchwinner. Clarke is a good honest battler at best.

A matchwinner in a good team and he's a cancer that spreads through the side when he pulls out. Will be Carlton's Aaron Fiora and we should trade him for a pick or a player. Trade him to Sydney who need quick skillfull runners and get Bolton or a pick.

If he's that bad why would the Swans give us Bolton?

Unless he meant a Michael Bolton CD...

They wouldn't of course, but they are side that need pacy outside players with a lot of hard players who could feed him the ball. I could only see a top side taking him where his negatives don't cost them as much as it does Carlton.

WIll he get another go next week based on today?

id say yes, has some pace as well.
his disposal aint the best, but neither is the disposal of 90% of the team
