They've dropped their heads. It's too easy for the Crows now

3 goals to win, 2 mins.

Hmmmmm

All over red rover.

No way up for this team it seems. They play quite disgusting football to be honest and Adelaide should really have blown them out of the water.

Questions have to be asked not just about the team but all through the ranks from the trainers to the coaching staff including Denis himself.

You can't sit bottom and not be held accountable across the board in my opinion.

Being the laughing stock of the AFL is demoralising. Will the fans and members stand for it?

Well, my pre-game predictions were spot on.

Within 56 points for game prediction.

And predicted Eddie Betts goal tally within 5 goals.

Better effort by the guys, but we're just not in the same class as most of the League.

At this rate, I'm thinking PPs are a distinct possibility, no matter how hard we try to win.

still, Sydney is a very winnable one next week. They play footy every bit as ugly as we do.

Scoreboard is flattering. Carlton were well and truly out of this contest from about 17 mins into the first quarter.

My opinion is that it's the gameplan that is killing this team. This flood back then rush forward can not win games with this squad, and it is too predictable.

The opposition just has to build a wall and they'll rebound off you every time.

Carlton are as predictable as it gets because of the gameplan.

I believe with a different gameplan (where you have more one on one contested football) there would be more wins and confidence on the board.

You can't play a Wayne Carey game without Wayne Carey.

Thts harsh , the biggest margin for the whole game was 15 pts so a 14 pt loss isnt flattering

Nothing to do with gameplan.

We need 2 more in and under midfield players with skill.

as simple as that.

Two more in and under midfielder and this team would be transformed.

It is the only thing missing from our structure.

Funny how the way we're playing is the way Brisbane on their way to 3 premierships played.

But only because Adelaide had something like 15 behinds.

They dictated 80% of the game, and Carlton were only in it not because of better play, but because Adelaide didn't punish them on the scoreboard.

Now that can be a nice sneaky way to get 4 points but it's pretty unconvincing.

I'm more interested in seeing a deserved win than a lucky win (and I'm an Arsenal supporter saying that   ).

Just my 2 cents and happy for everyone to disagree.

:o I definetely challenge that comment. Brisbane played tough aggressive intimidating football. They only bombed when they had to, otherwise, they had Voss, Aker, Black, Lappin and Power who could take possession forward of the centre and either hit Lynch, Bradshaw or Keating, or run it hard enough to score the goal themselves.

On the back end, they had half a dozen brutes who didn't give a stuff and bashed through everybody. I don't remember Brisbane being the all flooding team that Carlton is.

I'll stand by my theory that you can't play a W. Carey gameplan without W. Carey.

I would at least like to see a gameplan similar to Geelong and West Coast. Whilst we have nowhere near that skill level, I believe the pummelings would stop and you'd go a lot closer to winning games.
